Can I ask a stupid question... how do we know it's not a fake?

The description of the cd says it's never been played... so how do we know what's REALLY on it, if the seller hasn't even played it? The picture isn't even a picture of the item, it's just a standard picture that anyone can find online. And from the person's history, although they've been on ebay since 2007, they weren't selling right from the start. Plus, they only starting selling "rare" cds and dvds in the past few months. Hmmm...

 

It will be interesting to see how much it eventually sells for.

A couple of months ago there was one on eBay with a personal note to Jo Whiley (I think). That one seemed way more authentic.

The starting price is quite high (don't trust him saying the last one on ebay sold for 500$ cause that's not true at all), I'm sure that if you keep looking you can buy one for less :)

Huh, didn't show up on the global Ebay. Probably 'cause it doesn't ship outside Belgium. Maybe some persuasion could change that? :rolleyes:

btw... How rare is a Danish Live version of Don't Panic? I have one, it has 3 other tracks live from Vega in Denmark, and its all in Danish!

Doritji, I'm confused about the Don't Panic on your site, the 5th Don't Panic down the list, says its an Australian one, but the recordings are in Denmark, and I own this with the stated tracklisting, but its not Australian at all, its all in Danish :s

sorry about that, the 5th one is indeed an danish one (hence the danish flag ;)) thanks for pointing that mistake ! ( sometimes my head starts spinning when I have to list all the different releases).
