Oh jeez, I wouldn't wish Keane, James Blunt or The Fray on anyone, ffs... :P Or Razorlight for that matter.

 

If you wanna expand your tastes go with something a bit less mainstream like Mew or Elbow, as already mentioned, but also The Coral, Turin Brakes, Stereophonics, Mando Diao, We Are Scientists or something more established like REM, Eels or The Smiths... just my twopence worth... :escaping:

the beatles have good bass (i saw her standing there)

joy division and new order have good bass as bass tends to be what hooky tries to be the main instruments (he plays the higher notes on bass so a lot of their tracks are bass driven)

the strokes first album has some good bass.

 

also blindness by the fall has good bass
