Yeah, very true. And I felt that it was more plausible for Sherlock to be goaded by his own personality than drugged.

I was just thinking about that! Drugged Sherlock vs. not-drugged Sherlock, I mean. Sorry that I'm just repeating what you said, but I agree. Thankfully, they changed that. I love how Sherlock could have easily walked away, but he just couldn't resist showing off his cleverness, even if it meant risking his life. That just reveals so much about him.

 

I never thought Mycroft would become one of my favorite characters, but yes, Gatiss completely nails it. He's so suave too. :awesome:

I think it's safe to say every actor is amazing in this series. I can't think of a weak link.

^And yeah I agree, I like how sexy Benedict looks in the first episode (not that he doesn't look amazing in every episode), but overall the storyline is much better in the 90 minute version

I had to come join this thread, because recently (Saturday) my friend got me addicted to Sherlock. So, I've watched every episode since then (spent some time looking through every possible google search to find them). :heart:

 

I watched the last episode tonight. The tears made an appearance. :'(

Watched The Great Game for the third time a couple of days ago, and Tinker Tailor yesterday. Gotta say Benedict is damn good actor.

Is season 2 going to be broadcast on 9 May? That might explain the long wait for the DVD but at the same time I think it's ridiculous you must wait that long when files can be converted in a matter of seconds and you know... the production is ridiculously fast and so is transport. So... I don't know what keeps BBCA from broadcasting the episodes sooner than May.

See, that's a good incentive! I'm sure you'll do well anyway but it's worth doing extra great on the competition just so you can get the DVD. :dance:

I doubt the DVD would ever get to Slovenia so I ordered it via the BBC Shop. It didn't even cost that much, considering it's new and lovely and whatnot.

 

Oh and these DVDs are suitable for region 2 and 4, and as far as I know, all of Europe is region 2 (apart from Russia... I think :uhoh:). So it's a safe bet for Belgium, I suppose.

The DVD of the first series I got is automaticly with Dutch subtitles :mellow: so if I have to wait for that version of Series 2 it'll be 2013 I guess :wreck:

I went to a house party last night. And seeing as about half the group loves Sherlock, we naturally started talking about it. Then one girl, who has never watched it, said that Benedict Cumberbatch wasn't good looking....

Before I even had the chance to say anything, my boyfriend got all defensive and saying that he was perfect, haha.

 

A friend of ours shouted "control your woman" to me.

 

That along with the fact that he said feels like him when his collar pops up... I'm undecided on whether giving him the box set for Valentines day was the best idea.
