Shoe-shopping in general is a rather painstaking process for me. I have longer feet that are also wide. Despite the fact that lengthwise, I wear a size 10, I have to up to a size 11 because the size 10 shoes are too narrow. Also, my feet are flatter than most, almost to the point of being flat-footed. Normal sneakers hurt my feet after a while. This is why I often opt for Converse shoes or other shoes like it that are flat.

Given that, heels would be a pain for me. I have trouble walking in pumps. :freak: A lot of that has to do with my legs. My left leg is noticeably longer than my right, making my walk in everyday shoes awkward as it is. I've had a person once ask me what happened to my leg because they apparently thought I was limping, even though I was just walking like I always do.

So yeah. My physical anomalies pretty much keep me away from even thinking about wearing high heels. :dead:

I love high heels. :wacky: The only problem with shoe-shopping for me is that I'm a size 8-8 1/2, and it seems like most people are so a lot of times shoes are out of stock.

At least they have reasonable shoes in your size. The stock for Size 11 shoes are somewhat limited because there aren't many of us with that huge feet out there. I'm still saddened that I can NEVER find a Size 11 pair of RocketDogs. :bigcry:

:nice:

-tries to bring thread back onto topic-

I don't think it'd be a good idea for me to wear high heels, anyway, even if I could manage them. I'm rather tall as it is.

I'm 1.70cm and I love to wear high-heels :wacky: I LIKE BEING TALL :charming: So I can look down on all of you  No but really, I don't wear them often.. like once a year or something

I love wearing them for special occassions, I always wear a pair for school dances but end up taking them off anyway. :P

High heels are so pretty! But extremely difficult to walk in unless you wear them all the time.

Oh, and the click clack click click click when I walk makes me happy. :cheesy:

^^ hah me too :wacky: But the last school dance I was at I didn't take them off the whole time I was there, and I even danced like a maniac. When I took them off afterwards it felt like my heels were sinking into the ground

is it really worth a couple inches ladies?

no guy in their right mind cares about the difference in height when you wear high heels

but.. wearing heels is fun

High heels are sexy...but yea it doesn't work on a tall girl.

I don't wear heels but I appreciate every tall girl who wears them and doesn't care about what people think then. I just hate it when guys think that girls wear heels cos they want to impress them, most girls wear them cos they think heels are beautiful and it really is true that you feel much more confident and 'feminine in them imo.. ofc there are girls who wear them for guys too but that's just stupid :P If I loved a pair of shoes that had high heels I'd still wear them though I'm tall and if someone has a problem with me being a giraffe in them then it's their problem :D sorry I'm bored

oh and if you have a proper pair then they're really not any more painful then other shoes you know

this! :charming:

Durp, I have big feet that are NARROW. Horrid stuff, bc the shoes then are just a little too big and small - big pain

I love wearing heels not because I want to make myself tall. They're just lovely :nice:

I hate them too. I feel like im going to fall anytime. Its uncomfortable.

FLIP FLOPS AND SKEAKERS RULE!

I like the way some of them look  I just need to get more used to walking in them

But If i was going out,

I would be more inclined to choose a pair of flat pumps instead.

I Wear heels 'Cos it makes me average Height :P
