I'm all for it as being bullied about your sexuality sucks, I've been pretty lucky in that respect because only one person has ever really been hurtful to me about it, but I did feel pretty miserable for a while, for people who are subjected to being bullied every day,especially by more than one person I really do feel sympathy for them.

I'm all for this, though I don't think I have any clothes that are purple (also I have to go to work later which has a strict dress code). But I think that these suicides are terrible. I mean why make fun of someone for it? If that's who they are attracted to then that's perfectly fine. Hearing about these stories really got me angry about it because no matter what the case is bullying is not acceptable. And to make fun of someone because they are different is low, extremely close-minded. Even so... when you think about it all of us are more the same than different, so why focus on that.

 

Honestly for me it doesn't matter who the person is... if they are a kind or a good person, then that's all that matters.

I didn't know about it, I'm on vacation and haven't been outside all day, so nobody would see it anyway. :uneasy:

 

I would definitely if circumstances were different, as I'd like to have shown the support.

in the past month 6 gay teens in the US have committed suicide because of bullying from other kids in school and this is just a day in honor of them

I wore my nail varnish and had my purple watch on :nice:

My friends wore purple shoes or laces :wacky: plus purple nail varnish.
