December 8, 201015 yr A I'm sure none of us are going to put Miley Cyrus/Ke$ha/Justin Bieber/any other rubbishness like that on our mixtapes... I did. :\ jk :P
December 8, 201015 yr I don't care if my partner puts Justin Bieber on the mixtape as long as it's a part of some obscur concept. I'm not sure my partner will enjoy my mixtape but I hope he will understand why I put all those songs together.
December 8, 201015 yr ^so that rules out me as your partner then if its a he! btw i've just sent mine off!
December 8, 201015 yr I'm having trouble removing the artwork that WMP automatically adds for each song.. Anyone know how to get rid of that? I always overwrite the artwork with some random picture from somewhere, it's far easier than just deleting it, cos media player likes to retain the artwork even after it's been deleted. Just copy a pic, right click and pick 'paste album art'. Easy peasy.
December 8, 201015 yr haha I am trying to put my mixtape in winrar right now.....it's been 3 years that I have done something like that so I feel quite silly right now, because I don't get it working..oh my
December 9, 201015 yr What do we do once we completed our playlist? You send the audios files with ALL the infos deleted in an archive upload somewhere (megaupload, yousendit...) to Ivet ^^
December 9, 201015 yr I'm trying to upload my mixtape to Rapidshare. Does anyone know how to get rid of the details of each song so my person won't know the tracklisting?? Thank you! And hi William!
December 9, 201015 yr Does anyone know how to get rid of the details of each song so my person won't know the tracklisting?? If you're using Windows, right-click on the music file and click 'Properties'. Then, go to 'Details' tab and remove all the file information one by one. Click 'Apply' then 'OK'.

December 9, 201015 yr Yep, that's what I ended up doing :P I tried that but the old cover arts retained. :freak:
December 9, 201015 yr I'm sure none of us are going to put Miley Cyrus/Ke$ha/Justin Bieber/any other rubbishness like that on our mixtapes... Now I remember why I stopped posting on this forum.
December 9, 201015 yr I tried that but the old cover arts retained. :freak: Highlight all tracks, right click, tag editor, picture tab and you can add a picture there instead. It might be worth checking each track individually afterwards too. Long winded way of doing it, but it works. Oh and btw I discovered the other day that it won't overwrite any details on a track if you're actually listening to it the time
December 9, 201015 yr I'm starting to stress a little, I've got to write plenty about South Korea for Monday as well, and I'm not near to finishing my mixtape :wreck:
December 9, 201015 yr You send the audios files with ALL the infos deleted in an archive upload somewhere (megaupload, yousendit...) to Ivet ^^ Can you tell me why all the information needs to be deleted?
December 9, 201015 yr Can you tell me why all the information needs to be deleted? Because the point of the mixtape is to surprise your partner!! If you have the name of track and artist, there is no discovery!! So just name your track 1, 2, 3..etc. ;)
December 9, 201015 yr So we won't know what we're listening to. Because the point of the mixtape is to surprise your partner!! If you have the name of track and artist, there is no discovery!! So just name your track 1, 2, 3..etc. ;) But I don't understand that, I would like to know what I'm listening to. I will go and delete everything though.
December 9, 201015 yr I guess it's so you won't judge the songs by who the bands/artists are. That's kind of ridiculous. We all know what kind of music we like and what artists we like and dislike, so what difference does it make if we know the artist or not.
