I'll admit though, there is no way I will ever compare the Beatles to Coldplay. Yes, I grew up listening to the Beatles. My mom and dad have always been huge fans, and as kid I'd listen to their Yellow Submarine album every day. They've made great songs, for sure. Their influence is huge. It's just I've never been much into the whole psychedelic rock thing.

 

NO other band has made a larger, more positive impact on my life than a band headed by a "boneheaded" Briton named Chris Martin. And I will stand by that every single day. :D

These articles crack me up with their rage, lol. All the man did was give his opinion on something. You don't have to agree with it. But there'd be silence if 10 people were asked to name five Kanye songs? Really? I know more Kanye songs than I do the Beatles.

I'll take Coldplay over the Beatles any day, but I don't think I can say that Coldplay has reached the level of universal greatness that the Beatles have...yet.

Who knows what can happen. That's why LP5 can be so big.

 

Kanye West is honestly a great artist, one of only of a handful of hip-hop artists that have gotten on my iPod. But this is just a little too premature right now.

I agree with his comments only because although I appreciate and respect the Beatles, they've just made no impact on my life.

It is a premature comment though- we are only on LP5 and the best is yet to come!
