Would You Die To Save Your Friends/Family?

Featured Replies

Recently my friend was wanting to know if I'd die for him. HELL NO! He wasn't that good of a friend. Would you give your life to save a good friend/family member?? How violent of a death would you tolerate? :o c'mon people!!!

Sure. I got nothing to live for.

do your family and friends though? :inquisitive:

There's not a lot of people I'd die for. I guess it depends on who it is, like my bfff or my other half

I'd die for them

I forgot to ask also if you'd die a horrible death like drowning

i would never drown for them....

i'd like, step infront of a deathly bullet or something like that

NEVER drown for them... or any kind of slow death :wreck:

Personally I'd do anything except Chinese water-torture.

I would, without. For my closest family, Ivet, my bff Jo and one of my cousins. If I lose any of them, I don't see the whole point in staying alive without them, so might as well save their life :)

What kind of circumstances? Like jump in front of a bullet for them or fall ill instead of them falling ill?

This seems to be the usual philosophy among those who would sacrifice

the fuck! chinese water torture :anxious:

without hesitation.

I can think of four people that applies to.

Scaphism?

Obviously this depends on the circumstances. Working on instinct (if it was a choice made without much thought, like a gunman bursts in etc) I would die for almost everyone apart from people I really dislike. If it's a straight choice of me or them, pressing a button then probably the same too sine the guilt afterwards would be enormous and I'd probably kill myself afterwards anyway, unable to cope with having led to their death.

If it's just I die, and if I don't then I never see them again but they don't die and I'd know they'd be OK then pretty much nobody.

Either way, someone's friend or family member is gonna die..

Oh yeah, I forgot it said 'save'.

Yeah, I don't want a death on my hands, I'd take the fall if it was relatively painless.

you mean a case like donate an organ right?

if is a bullet, and they appreciate you as much, yeah you'd save them but they'll feel bad cause you won't be there anymore.

fall ill instead of them falling ill?

this, i'd do, just to two people i know.

Probably less than five people I'd take a bullet for. But those few there's no question about it

In how many cases can one actually die to save someones life?

I can't think of many times where I have had the opportunity to take a bullet for someone for instance.

A better situation would be, would you give your life to save someone else's?

It's a different question. I would, say, give my life to cancer research if it meant I could save my best friend's life who had cancer.

As in you would kill yourself to be researched on, on the off chance they found the cure whilst experimenting on you? Pretty sure you didn't mean that haha.
