my guess is june before the festivals start we'll get some more "hard information" - but what that means could be minimal. i really kind of hope they release a single and an ep or something before they do the festivals.

 

it feels it's been quite a long time since i had some new coldplay...

I'm with the other people who have said July is when we'll get some of the real info on the album, such as name and possibly the tracklisting. If the rumored October release date is true than that's around the the time of the typical 3 month publicity period before the album drops.

I think I've already assumed the album will be out in October after the festivals...I don't expect it any sooner, but well I would certainly love it if they suddenly announced the album will be out this summer :awesome: My guess is that we'll get more important information when they start playing at the festivals and talking with the media and all that since they'll be more exposed :shrug:

October's fine by me. It's sure to get me through the dark winter months here!

Only downside of an October release is that my grades are sure to suffer as a result...

^ heh, if they drop the album on a school day I won't be able to concentrate for the entire day, and then I'll demand that my mom drives me into town so I can sprint to the electronics section in Wal-Mart. I'll grab the album, hold it hostage all the way home, and fall down the stairs as I try to get to my computer to upload it to iTunes.

 

And then I won't come out of my room until I've listened to it at least three times :P

 

On a second note . . . dang, no info today :(

This reminds me when there was an interview on the radio after the release of Christmas Lights with the staff of Coldplayzone, but I was at school... So I went to the toilet with my mobile and headphones and I remained there until it finished :P

"towards" sounds rather vague:lol:...as it has been said before, like it could be in early September cause it is "towards autumn" :P but I don't know...However RIR makes me think it will be out in October after the festival.

In my school days, I have done quite a lot of things for Coldplay which range from missing out one of the most important exams just to watch the premiere of the video for "Viva La Vida"

to -wait can't tell that story on a forum, they'll think I'm Mad-

 

Now, In college it's just the normal listening to all their albums, all day, everyday. And writing their songs and lyrics with permanent marker on my hand and other crazy stuff. Wait till we have some LP5 news, video, audio or info. coming out and then I'll go bonkers!! haha.

I thought the album would be out by June but I am guessing October at this point. I am moving to San Francisco in January to attend Graduate School, so I really hope they start touring the US again before I go :)
