Do any of you surf? I've thought about trying it.

I surf :nice: If you have good beaches near where you live, then yeah you should totally take it up. It's really fun. Plus if there isn't surf school near where you live, it's easy enough to teach yourself through reading how to do things and lots of practice.

 

I haven't been out in ages D: last summer decided to be shit and there was literally no waves for weeks. Then I had no time when school started back up.

I surf the internet, that's about it. :cheesy:

I'm gonna agree with Eddilly, I've been surfing a handful of times but the main thing that puts me off is regular surfers, they are so oddly elitist. It's like if you don't obsess over surfing and want to do it every weekend then by getting on a board now and then you are a 'poser' for some reason, really fucked up (And oddly Edd I used to know some incredibly annoying ones- friend of a friend situation, from NZ).

I dont suf but I really wanna try it someday.

I live in the town thats home of the US Open so getting good waves shouldnt be too hard.

 

Its just getting the money for a board and wetsuit that is the biggest obstacle for me.

 

Ill prob take it up next year, make some better friends.

 

Right now ..... horseback riding.

I'd look fat in a wetsuit.
