I have a question: when did all the tracklistings and titles for Viva begin to come out? Like how many months before the release?

I've just imagined a song right now while I was having a shower LOL. It was called "My shell" (maybe the name of the album too? Who knows, starting with an M and 2 words...) and it sounded very fast, exciting and melodic. It was very alike to Suuuuunday Blooody Sundaaay hahaha :D

But it says in the blog, HIS EPIC LEAD ON MTM. It's the only logical choice to assume that it's a song!!!

 

...but it actually says "Jonny was in there working on his epic lead FOR MTM"

...to me that doesn't make much since if he is referencing a guitar...? And I thought I read somewhere a while back that the album title will have two M's in it..???

 

edit: although I suppose one could refer to a guitar in that way. For example: "Bob was working on his epic solo for Violin." So maybe Coldplay refer to Jonny's guitar as MTM (Moog The Moog) like a proper noun. So I pretty much just convinced myself of the opposite of what I said before... so nevermind. lol!

I JUST saw the announcement with a link to Coldplay's Facebook page. And as soon as I read the Acronym (MTM) I felt my peel off. Plus! I love astronomy themed music. It doesn't get much better than that!!! :D I could definitely see it being about alienation in a way though. But it reminds me of how they said that planetary model was inspiring them in the stuido!! :]]]
