I am conducting some informal surveys on this site and others for a school project dealing with the issue of bullies and bullying.

I've never been bullied in the sense of it being a constant bullying. Perhaps I was made fun of every once in a while but it wasn't so bad. I never did bully others.

 

I saw first hand how some of my friends throughout school were bullied and never wanted that to happen to me, so I remained quiet for most of my HS experience, and very self-conscious, which hurt me socially and I've been trying to catch up ever since.

I was bullied from grade 1 up to grade 7

 

I was the only brown girl in a small town in the middle of nowhere in Africa and my classmates who were all either black or white saw me as something of an alien.

Was bullied, then bullied someone else.

Same, I was bullied when I was pretty young and I guess I ended up treating someone similar without realizing at the time.

Hmm, 4 people have been bullied in the past, none are being bullied now, but 5 have experienced emotional bullying.

I was bullied, I have bullied (forgot to add that in the poll), I have been emotionally bullied and cyber bullied.

I've been jumped, shoved into pools fully clothed which got me kicked out because I didn't pay to get in because I wasn't going to swim lolz, been the subject of a hate website, had things stolen from me, and a bajillion other things. My life consisted of being constantly bullied until grade 9 har har.

It's odd how I stays with you and affects in just small ways.

I was bullied in grade 7 and 8, a bunch of girls from school used to yell at me calling me fat and other things when their bus was passing outside my house.

@nick: yeah. you even beat up animals.

 

 

 

 

was emotionally bullied, emotionally bullied someone, was cyber bullied, and cyber bullied others; I wasn't affected-(pissed off? a bit, somehow) for real from these cyber things tho :tongue:)

The "have been emotionally bullied" and the "have been bullied" poll numbers still don't match up
