What is your biggest fear?

Featured Replies

thanks, it's ok, I was lucky to have them around

Yeah it definitely sucks, it makes you think a lot about life and death. It's even worst when is unexpected, a few years ago my high school history teacher died, she was very young, around 40 years old and the funeral was so sad, she had a 3 or 4 year old son, can't imagine how bad that was for him and his big brothers and sisters.

oh I have to add earthquakes to that list, which sucks considering that Chile is one of the countries with more earthquakes.

I have such an irrational fear against of wasps it's not even funny. I'll run away if i even hear something the resembles a buzz. It might have to do with an incident when I was like six and my teacher stepped on a wasps nest while on a field trip, and i got stung around 20 times. good times....

^ ERGH. THAT'S TANGIBLE.

Anyway...

  • Failure
  • Heights
  • Loneliness

  • Pain
  • Suffocating

There's prolly more but can't think of them

Right now my biggest fear is that I'll get rejected from all the colleges that I apply to next school year. :\

My usuals are:

Death (to loved ones or myself)

Growing very old

Natural disasters or disease.

Bouncing naked on a trampoline, the gravity making my dick float upwards as I descend and somebody taking a picture, making it look as though I have a relatively small erection.

It's a very specific fear.

. Death of loved ones

. Heights

. Being stabbed/ strangled.

. Being alone for the rest of my life

But, Cobalt, what a big nose you have!

It's called a muzzle. Please don't make fun of my muzzle.

That Coldplay will run out of cake for Jonny Boy

OH NO!

WE WILL ALL GET SCARED

I have a lot of fears (death, disease, spiders, losing my family, etc.)

But my only actually phobia is emetophobia. It's totally irrational and most people probably think it's a stupid phobia, but when you actually have it it's awful.

I was lurking an emetophobia messageboard yesterday for no reason whatesoever. Even without having it I can't understand why people wouldn't take it seriously, especially after being on there

The word vomit is censored to v* on it I think, kinda amused me.

Someone there has the same signature as me, I wonder if they just found it on the internet and liked it or if they actually know who John Reuben is. I'm guessing the former, especially because the person's favourite people are very anti-christianity and they said that they like to make fun of religious people and stuff. OH THE ABUNDANCE OF LULZ AND IRONY.

- diseases

- death

- Not becoming what I want (job)

- Losing important people too me

- growing old

- losing freedom

I think I'm actually most terrified of myself and anyone else being incorrect or making mistakes, etc.

Uh, I don't just have one 'big fear':

-Something bad happening to the people I love

Failure.

THOSE, OMG. How did I leave those off? The first one especially is bad; I actually have recurring nightmares about the people I love dying and having to be at their funerals. :|

I hate wakes and funerals

That. I've been to three, and while I didn't know the person at one of them and was therefore unaffected (The lady was my brother's friend's grandmother), when I attended the funerals of my maternal grandmother and my uncle, I was a complete mess. It was particularly bad at my uncle's funeral because instead of being sick for a long time (like my grandmother was), he had suddenly died of a heart attack at work.

Being stabbed

OH. That reminds me. It's because of this that I also get really freaked out when people point sharp objects at me. Once, when my brothers and I were washing the dishes, they found out about this, and they thought it'd be funny to pretend to make stabbing motions at me with steak knives. I cried. :|

I'm definitely more worried about others dying than myself.

I wouldn't say it's a fear though, since I don't often think about it, and there's nothing I can do about it. It's not like avoiding heights or keeping clear of spiders. It happens when it happens.

Fear itself.

Pour your respects uponst me.

Someone coming up behind me and lacerating my achilles tendon...

or both of them in one swift movement.

You are so amazing.

Not being good enough for something, and being judged by people. That's why I never talk at school. :|
