True. I was just making the point that for many people, it doesn't really matter how many people tell them their hair loss isn't a negative thing, because it's a very personal issue for a lot of people (as with various other forms of body image issues.)

 

Since he's so adamant about wearing a hat (even being seen with one in pictures not directly intended for the public such as the photos from Chloe's twitter account) it's probably safe to say it bothers him at least a little.

I agree. Personally, I don't mind if he wears a hat or not. Jonny is an amazing guitarist and human being. His smile is everything. i don't know, I think this topic is so irrelevant. I love Jonny just the way he is <3

Except maybe it bothers him. Baldness is a very sensitive issue for a lot of men, especially those as relatively young as Jonny. (though from that picture, he has more hair left than I would've guessed.) Even if everybody around someone is fine with it, it can still be a source of emotional stress.

 

Alternatively, perhaps he's cool with it, but just doesn't see it fitting into how he wants to present himself publicly/on stage.

 

No, agreed 100%. My husband is one of those men that's losing his hair bit by bit, and it is an uncomfortable thing. And completely understandable. I was speaking more from my point of view that it wouldn't bother me personally as a fan if he wore a hat or didn't wear a hat. He, of course, can do whatever he wants that makes him happy. ;)

SO much Jonny in the new tracks! He is like everywhere, Chris has relegated the role as front man to Jonny´s able hands haha So happy to see him shine in the Ghost Stories tracks we have heard so far. And also he was playing piano during Magic :)

He always was a strong, if not understated presance, and it gives me so much joy to see him step forward so much the last couple of tours!:)
