The Coldplaying Scrapbook II, info in the first post [THIRD ONE IS HAPPENING READ THAT THREAD]

maybe it's easier when you start a thread but I don't mind helping you :nice:[/color]

Since you're the creator (I assume) of the idea, and you seem to know how this works more than anyone else, would you mind taking the reins one more time? If not, I'll start a new thread under your direction?

If you guys want someone taking the lead who will be tough when it comes to the guidelines and to assure that deadlines will be met, I don't mind start/lead one as well. I already have a new scrapbook laying here (still from last time when we thought we lost it).

that's great! so we don't need to look for a new book, you'll be the first one in line then :cheesy:

You've got my vote :surprised:

I'm willing to track the book/keep tabs if people can provide tracking numbers :P

Other then that I can do logistical work

Okay, I can soon start a new thread about it with hopefully clear guidelines.

First things first.

A new pacticipant list. My suggestion is to continue with the one that Celien built up last time, because the people on there have been waiting long enough and it seems unfair to have them ending up somewhere below in the list again with the risk that they again will not see the book. What do you guys think of that? I will not ask Celien for their addresses etc, because that's confidential, so if people want to continue with this with a new scrapbook, then I'll ask you again for your addresses etc. People can then also decide to be taken off the list or be put on the list a while later (because they are busy or emigrating or something).

ColdplayOlivia, the book will be send to you first then. Are you still in for participation?

Hi!

I think to continue with the list, if people still wants to be a part of it, sounds like a great idea.

It is probably best if we limit each other to a three days max of having the book. Mailing already takes a lot of time. Three days, in my opinion, are enough to fill the two sides of the page. Also, since you will know when the book is in your way, you would have enough time to plan what you are going to put in there, so by the time it arrives, you would have a general idea, and filling the pages would not take as much time.

To be honest I think it takes more time. Some people like me having a fulltime job and a household to run. Three days is not something I can spar a few hours for a scrapbook entry in. It also depends at which day of the week you receive the book. I think a week at least should be reasonable. People can always ask for another week if they get into troubles by exams or something. But I like your idea of already thinking up or even making a page before the scrapbook arrives.

seems like a good plan,

guess we better make a new thread (yes again) or something to make that about the adresses clear

pretty much what Wyrd said. 3 days is short when you have a fulltime job or an awfull lot of homework or exams.

But the limit has to be clear in how long you may keep the book

I have a crazy idea, how about we each make our own pages and send it to one person? :uhoh:

  • Author

yeah why not that :cheesy:

sounds pretty cool!

I got a map full of plastic thingies to put papers in

 well the only thing is who's gonna harbor everything hahah.

Unless we can make pages and send them to Celien :D

hmmm what are we gonna do after sending the pages :uhoh: :uhoh:

  • Author

yeah

but if we do it that way, it would be not as awesome as sending an actual book around

good question!

send the map to Ian :wacky:

i think we should carrry on with Olivia, she just sends one or two pages ( this is lighter than a notebook and it would be cheaper, so we can send it with an express or quicker (or whatever you call it  ) shipping ! :idea2: ) then the next person adds one or two pages....then 1-2 pages more..then..then..

i'm so sorry for the last person :P

So page sending then? That would be quicker, so people don't need "turns". But I'm thinking it won't be as entertaining, since we won't be able to survey the book too...

this

It sounds like the 2nd book has gone the way of the 1st book, and gone missing in transit.

Well I might try the page thing with a few of my Coldplayers and I'll report on the findings
