The 'fucking special' version is simply the genuine version, but it had to be changed into 'very special', not to 'shock' people, basically in the US.

 

It's a classic way of censorship...

is there a piano version to this as the sheet music seems so much different - like it says that this sheet music (http://littlerowboat.net/piano/scores/) is from the live version in brussels,belgium (12/5/95??)- does anyone have this version as well?

Well, I know Christopher O'Riley did a piano cover of the song, but I don't know if Radiohead ever did a piano version live. I'm sure Nik would know though ;)

that Brussels version was the first performance of True Love Waits and it was Thom acoustic guitar + Jonny playing arpeggios on keyboard. and it stayed as the onliest "original TLW"... next appearance of it was in 2001 after several requests from fans...and it was played but only with Thom on acoustic guitar without keyboard

though there is a piano version of TLW, it was played in Berkeley and LA this year, but as intro to EIIRP, so i doubt they would ever record a proper piano version of it

i guess Thom was just "trying" this song, he did the same with Nude back in 2002. i really hope Radiohead will release a studio version of True Love Waits, let's say on the 8th LP.

damn, i just realized that True Love Waits has a potential to be the best Radiohead song ever...every live version of it is simply beatiful. i kinda think this song is a perfect closer for their live sets

In my opinion, TLW is one of the best songs ever written, not only Radiohead's. It's just perfect, not only the great tune, but also thoughtful and touching lyrics, bliss.

Ur right nik! i really love the song and im sure it is the perfect closer for a concert. I hope theyre gonna put it on the next album.

has anyone heard about the reggae version of OK Computer thats due out Aug. 17th?? ( I think) The band is called 'Radiodread'.. you know, like dredlocks.. lol
