I love every song Radiohead has made, with the sole exception of the entire Pablo Honey album, I own all albums and yet I think that there's an unusual amount of stuck-up pretentious Radiohead fans. It's one thing to love your favourite band, it's an entire other thing to go to other band's boards to talk about how much they suck - just because Radiohead rocks doesn't mean that all other bands suck.

I find it pathetic that so many Radiohead fans are like this and to be honest I'm even a bit embarrassed at times to admit that I'm Radiohead fan when I look at these people.

the guy who created this thread must be reaaaaally bored

:lock: :lock:

Radiohead is an awesome band, coldplay are more a softer less experimental version of Radiohead and I like them more for it. Except for the scientist though I can't think of another coldplay song that sounds similar to radiohead. So far with Coldplay's new album there is nothing that sounds like radiohead.

In 2000, if Radiohead didn't do Kid A and did another album like OK Computer/The Bends, Coldplay wouldn't be as big as they are these days.

THat's possible.

I thought this was locked. Not that I minded it anyway.

respect to you for unlocking. I'm a musician and have been influenced hugely by radiohead just as coldplay have. I think there is no shame in it as in my opinion they are the best influence to draw from in modern music. For me, it would be nice to hear Coldplay go back to doing what they do best, I hope it happens with the new album.

You know, sometimes I think the older ateasers don't bother to tell the newer ones that they go board crashing around here every few months because they like to have a laugh at all the people who try and wonder why we don't get so upset anymore. Or maybe it's because they know enough of us are atease regulars that we won't fight back.

Whatever it is, it's soooo old.

I just noticed on my calender that it's Pathetic Losers That Need To Get Fucking Life Day, no wonder they're all here. Hope all your pathetic little lives are more fully enriched, thanks for visiting. :)

actually, this one turned out to be pretty nice...even made another thread to admit what they were doing, lol.

Its funny becuse Coldplay idolizes Radiohead, yet Thom Yorke called them "cheap pop music"

Yet all bands that are influenced by Coldplay (i.e. Keane, Snow Patrol, etc.) have been shown nothing but respect and love by Coldplay.

I guess we know who the better people are.:smug:

early snow patrol wasn't influenced by coldplay

In-fact their first album is nearly 10 years old, so it pre-dates Coldplay

Why are RH fans soooooooooooooooooooo threatened by Coldplay?

If they really and truly honestly believed that RH were far superior why would they go to the effort of signing up to a Coldplay messageboard just to bitch about them?

To the RH Coldplayphobes ....I'm seeing RH the next 2 nights and you are not, so suck on that bitches! :P
