It's pretty much a guarantee that the original link won't be on YouTube though it will eventually get there.

I was a forum-stalker for both the X&Y leak and the Viva leak, and both of them were posted on other forums.

 

But that doesn't matter. Word will spread here in about 30 seconds (literally) after it happens. For a band of Coldplay's caliber, and such a well-known forum, I wouldn't worry about getting a link. When it happens, you'll know.

 

And people, it's not hiding in some forgotten corner of the internet. It's not worth losing sleep over :P

Twitter would be a better place to get it than youtube. Youtube is highly moderated and has corporate interest's at heart - so a leak would only last an hour or so on youtube before it was taken down.

"Leak" is the most used word in this Forum after "Cat" and "MX".

i was thinking as i intend to upload the album to youtube, if i do it before 24 im sure it will be blocked by emi, but and what if i put it at oct 25? may it stay on?

^ I don't think so, because it's still copyrighted. Technically, when you upload a video you claim it as your own property. And the record company will be trying their hardest to garner the most profit possible, which means more hits on YouTube and more ad views.

 

And this will be pretty sensitive for the duration of this album's promotional period.

You'd be within your rights to upload it after the 19th. Wouldn't you? I'm pretty sure Viva was all over youtube before the world wide and US release occured.

 

Make sure you get a professional opinion though, if you had the whole album up and they had to remove all 14 videos you'd lose your account.

yup, i undestand that, but look, VIVA, X&Y, or anything Coldplay have ever released IS on youtube, and all this material is holded by random people, not only by coldplayvevo or shit.
