^ What's wrong with Coldplay contributing a song to a soundtrack? Even if it is Twilight :thinking:

 

As another poster said above: It's still going to be a Coldplay song--and it may not even be used in the movie. Lord of the Rings had several songs on their soundtrack that never appeared in the films.

Wishful thinking. Almost all of the songs that get on the soundtrack have appeared in the movies.

hate the idea of coldplay being related to twilight. the only thing i'll give credit to them for is that the 1st film is alright, emphasise on alright. the soundtracks are good and it ends there. if the song is being picked for the film it must be somewhat different in comparison to Paradise and ETIAW after all it is called Falling, it's hardly the cheeriest of song titles. I'm hoping (really hoping) that it'll be at least close to a Parachutes like song since the film series is full of them kind of songs.

As much as I hate twilight, their soundtracks are epic.

In fact, most of the songs are from awesome bands.

They're a bit mainstream to be in it lol but Muse was in it too so0o0o0 I don't know what I'm saying

First Muse, and then Coldplay? Stephanie Meyer and the whole twilight crew need a massive slap dragging these amazing bands into their world of teenage angst.

What copy cats honestly, it was just 4 books it's not anything massive like Harry Potter. Plus the last book isn't even that long.

You know, I really liked the books, and read them long before the movie was even talked about..But the movies really do suck. But, the soundtracks are great. So, I'm looking forward to this.

They should have done a great Instrumental for Inception ! :) Or for the upcoming "The Hobbit",that would be great because the whole Lord of the Rings Story is...my opinion !

I can't wait! Twilight usually has really good soundtracks (muse, radiohead, black keys, paramore) I don't know why everyone is against Twilight. I'm a 17 year old guy and I think they're pretty good. Plus it's a new Coldplay song so....
