My neighbour is stalking me. :/

At lunch today, I was talking to a friend and he warned me to stay faarrr away from James.

I already knew that everyone in my "group" knew about James' obsession with me, but I guess that they are all really...not afraid...but I guess wary of him. They think that he is on the fence between a genius and a psychopath. So now I'm really worried! People keep telling me that they are afraid to upset him because they don't know what he would do.

James is always talking about other people and how he blackmails them. For example, yesterday he took a semi- nude video of another guy in his room (don't even ask, I have no idea why they did this). He showed it to everyone at supper yesterday and said "Now if he crosses me, this is going viral. It will ruin him". He had a really unnverving tone of voice, and the look on his face was really chilling.

Fuck, I'm getting really scared of this guy. I don't know what to do!

I don't know who to talk to. :( My RA's job is to settle conflicts by talking to both parties at once, and I really don't want him to know that I told anyone. Anyway my RA is more interested in being friends with us than actually settling disputes.

I could talk to the Residence office, but I feel like they won't take me seriously unless something actually happens. But I don't want to wait until something happens, because it is hard to know what he is capable of/willing to do...

^ Winnipeg, haha.

It sounds like it's all second-hand info, but it just sounds that way because I am not using names (since you guys won't know who they are anyway :P). The friend who is telling me most of this is James' friend. He is planning on buying her a small gift too, but not a car lol.

I told him not to get me a Remembrance Day gift because, not only do I not want it, but it's extremely disrespectful to give gifts on Remembrance Day! But he just said "Oh, well it's more of a "thanks for being a good neighbour and good friend" gift". He just doesn't take no for an answer!

what if i know who they are

Screw the RA, GO TO THE DEAN, if not then the PO-PO

Dude, for real. Just do it already.

I don't think it would be a bad idea to mention this to the campus police. Do you have campus police? It's not quite the "real" police, but it's something. Is there a professor you could talk to about this?

For the time being, take any opportunity to avoid this person. If others are uncomfortable around him, then there's probably a good reason why.

and whenever he brings up again what a great friend you are, then tell him you are NOT his friend and don't want to be either (obvious).

Yeah, I have the phone number for campus security and residence security. So I can call if something were to happen.

I'm so sad, I was supposed to go home this weekend but now i can't. So I'm stuck here. At least james will be happy.

Awww  and good thing you got their numbers. Now tell them asap so if something does happen, they'll know about it and they wont think your crazy...not that you are but you know people :uhoh:

I would tell your friends to keep him out :uhoh:

^Do you have to keep using that fucking smiley all the time!

/raeg

Why can't you go home? Did he barricade your door?

Sorry but it's just that throughout the entire thread you've been like

"I'd not worry about him too much but carry a gun just in case :uhoh:"

"I'm sure he's fine but try not to get faceraped :uhoh:"

:uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh: :uhoh:

Yeah the fairly obvious joke was FUCKING HILARIOUS it looks like you've made a new friend Billy N.™!

This thred was an interesting read... but in other news call the cops. no joke! just do it already

who gives a f#%! about feelings or what he can do this is beyond anyones control anymore we all know what has to be done so just do it.

please dont let this continue any longer

I think I can safely say that anyone who has read this thread is scared for your wellbeing, as well as their own.

Seriously, this has gone beyond some sort of minor obsession. From what I'm reading, is it possible that he has some sort of social disability? It sounds like severe autism or something.

But seriously, talk to someone about this. Not reporting it is putting you, him, and your friends at risk.

Yeah the fairly obvious joke was FUCKING HILARIOUS

Someone had to do it.

It sounds like severe autism or something.
Nah, more like psychopathy. :uhoh:

:D :uhoh:

This is true ^ although autistic people usually have their minds set on a goal or something this is entierly different

Someone had to do it.

No they didn't.

L-O-L by the way!!!!111
