Chelsea. "They made us start playing before the doors had opened, I broke a string before anyone was even there so it was out of tune all night. Time to go back and try again...show Norwich how we really are."

:bomb: :bigcry:

I'll try and decide ASAP Chelsea and let you know  The only thing that's putting me off is the fact that I won't get there until like 2am, might be too late by then.

Oh, I can hear it now!. iPlayer is finnicky for me, but I'm recording the interview and will upload it in MM later :nice:

@Mich--Thank you . I've got Jo on the mission as well, maybe, so we'll see. But if I can be guaranteed a ticket via someone, even UEA friends...I think my decision will be made.

I feel your pain, Chelsea. They are doing a free show at "my" radio station in Los Angeles next week. Tickets can only be won, none will be sold. I'm doing my damnedest to win, but it will kill me if I can't be there.

Hi guys. I work at the uea. But fear it will be near impossible to get a ticket. They could be queuing fri morning. I desperately want a ticket to. I will keep checking and I will post when the queue starts to form.

Yeah please do mate. I'll keep an eye on this post!

Thank you! That would be super helpful :)

Great. :|

I'm going to have no hope in getting tickets.

The venue holds 1550 though, according to the website. Each person is allowed to buy only 2 tickets each. So hopefully there won't be 775 people crazy enough to queue for 24 hours. :worried:

Friday morning, that's insane!

For Exeter some people queued two nights! There were only 100 tickets for sale in person then though, but still, crazy!

I support what the UEA guy said--I was a student there, and I would see diehard fans queueing for certain bands sometimes, but this is COLDPLAY...I think all of East Anglia is going to come out for this to try and get tickets because no one this big comes to East Anglia. This is a huge deal for the town and the uni, so expect masses of people. There's also a Norwich FC match that Saturday, I think, so even more people will be in town, including the night before, than usual, who might have eyes on going to see Coldplay.

Jojo, you're my hero

It looks like we'll be a few people going to Norwich on Friday! Exciting! :) We desperately need one more ticket if my calculations are correct - is there anyone going who just needs one ticket and can offer their other one to the wonderful Mich? *fingers crossed she makes it there in time but one never knows*

I have to work twice. The chances of me getting there are slim to none. :disappointed:

People have started queuing already. :|

Yikes, that's early!

Oh LORD, people are already queueing?! I figured as much.

WHY COULDN'T THEY DO THIS LIKE FOUR MONTHS EARLIER WHEN I WAS STILL A STUDENT THERE?

On one hand, I'm worried about getting a ticket for me (via friends from here, I'm definitely worried about THEM getting tickets for themselves), but I guess I'll save a lot of money if it's not meant to be, even though my heart will be pulverized to bits :P

Just a quick update for you folks, the queue is currently about 100 people long!

Fuck! Are you kidding? So we basically have no chance if we go after work tonight at like 2.30am?

Ah well, even if I wasn't working there's no way I would've queued for two nights so good on them.

Wow, and I thought we were crazy when we queued for Liverpool since morning ... :shocked2:

Good luck to those of you, who are trying to get tickets!
