Does anyone know how much Coldplay got paid to sign a 5 record deal with Parlophone? I've always been very curious.

They got 2 pints of lager and a packet of ready salted crisps

surely there was a diet coke and a pineapple juice too? packet of organic peanuts even?

And not forgetting the taxi-fare home, plus they got to keep the pen.
