what the hell is this thread

This ...

:stunned:

Gr8 contribooting guise!

just pot... only felt it once and didn't like it so I never did it again.

that's really it, though I guess caffeine and alcohol would count so add those too.

Been offered pot a couple of times but I've rejected. I drink alcohol occasionally and have had the occasional cigarette on the night out but I've never had the desire to do drugs.

Uh :anxious: Alcohol and cigarettes ARE drugs

No haha I know what you mean, there's social drugs and then theres plain old drugs. The latter seems to take a bit more of a serious decision, it depends to an extent the people you grow up around. My parents think all drugs are the devil (But they'd be idiots not to realise by now that I do them) but with the friends I had growing up, smoking weed was just as casual as smoking a cigarette, coke, ecstasy then don't seem like a big deal.

So for me it was never really whether I had to 'decide' to have the desire to take drugs because it wasn't a big decision, in the same way I'd try a pomegranate.

The hippies say, anything refined is too hard on our bodies, too addictive. I kinda lean towards this philosophy - avoid the refined stuff, enjoy things in a more natural state.

Recently I re-discovered the runner's high - got a bike and caught the buzz after a few miles, and the endorphins kicked in - YES!:wideeyed: Pure Euphoria! All you need is some endurance exercise, start gradual if it's been a while, but wow, what a kick!!

I'm kindof confused as to what biking has to do with the topic, but I can't complain as I promoted the discussion of cheese earlier.

A lot of hippies have mushrooms as their drug of choice, and also a lot of these mushrooms don't require any preparation to provide a high (Though this is illegal somehow) but it is addictive as any other drug in my opinion, what's the deal there?

> exercise = Endorphins, the natural high - and it does work wonders!

Now if you put those in your Martini, you will see results. Magic results.

> I have no clue, halucinogenic mushers not my style of natural buzz, and the hippies I know generally gravitate towards leafy greens. ;)

I completely understood that you meant endorphins, but if every thread was that loosely related, the "New Band Youve Discovered" thread would result in a chat about skateboarding.

But we need to e-x-p-a-n-d our minds! :hippy::hippy::hippy: As odd as it may seem, many common things truly are drugs, albeit milder in some cases than others. (take chocolate, for instance) I'm staying on topic, not skateboarding away!:laugh3: Have you tried the runner's high? It's gooood, and good fun.

I've regularly been working out since about the age of 16 (So nearly 9 years now) and I couldn't live without that, even when I wake up I have to do some push-ups to get myself going. That's another topic.

Such a diverse bunch!

Getting back to cheese, that's a type of weed so you all kinda stayed on topic so well done

Holy moly is that THE fifi I'm thinking of? Ya it must be (That signature has stuck with me down the years I still remember it hahaha). Yallo!

And I want extra staying-on-topic points as I brought up Blue Cheese and thats a specific type of weed.

Hahaha yep tis me. Hiii reilly!!

Never expected to see you still knocking about here :inquisitive:

Weed, not a social drug? Well, okie dokie.

I don't like any cheese bar processed... and parmesan on mah pizza.

Chocolate is far more dangerous than weed. Chocolate makes me feel almost as relaxed for a while, but then you have a massive come down & put on weight.

Did you know a banana is a herb? :surprised:

Really? All I know about bananas is that they're amazingly nice & lots of people are misinformed about smoking the skin to get baked.

I feel properly high right now, just been playing guitar for a few hours...

I was earlier too:D, one of mine badly needs restringing at the moment.

I just got one today, got a high end squier for a bargain and I'm gonna whack fender parts on it. Why on earth do people put .9's on stock though, they're just terrible.
