Wow, they played Blackout at Wembley?! It seems like they haven't played that in a years. It must have been amazing. That's the one song I'm dying to see them play live. I love that song.

Newborn is actually no big surprise : they always play it. And to reassure you I think the first setlist was better than the second : you've had Man of Mistery and I always find Bliss disappointing live.

I've seen Bliss from some live bootlegs, and I kinda agree with you I must say. But Matt singing "Give me the peace and joy in your mind..." is still worth to see and hear it by yourself. :)

Their concert in "Parc des Princes" (Paris) will occur on Saturday.

Went on Saturday and i'm still trying to recover. That was simply FUCKING INCREDIBLE from start to finish!!!!!!!!!!!! We had an amazing setlist, some of the songs they played i never thought i'd get to see them perform live. Highlights for me (although the whole thing was a highlight in itself!) were Blackout (the most beautiful performance of the night, with the dancers attached to giant balloons), Feeling Good, Unintended, Stockholm Syndrome (because everyone just went completely nuts to it, as usual!), Bliss and Sunburn. The sky was completely overcast the whole time but that just added to the atmosphere imo (and it only rained for about a minute during New Born so they didn't have to close the roof which was a bonus! :D)

I really wanna see Muse live again this september at a festival, but the tickets (2-day passes) are $120, and the only bands I would wanna watch are Muse of course, Arctic Monkeys, the Killers and Editors.

 

It's a little far away too so I'd have to stay somewhere over night, and I'm only 16 and I can't drive there myself and no one wants to pay that much to go.

Well I prefer RadioMad's one, the intro and outro are better, and the rhythm is... slower, which is better, the guitar sounds neat and the solo is fantastic : Matt has at last finished this MAKE-AS-MUCH-NOISE-AS-I-CAN-WITH-MY-GUITAR-EVEN-IF-IT-SOUNDS-HORRIBLE phase, which is a very good thing.

 

I've been very often pissed about they're need to play their songs twice as fast as on the album, as if they were on a hurry. New Born was one of them.

 

And i do believe that songs are much more powerful when they're slow.
