I saw Muse on Friday at the O2 arena in London. Was absolutely awesome!!! My seat was quite high up but it was right at the side of the stage so i had a pretty good view. I feel sooo lucky that on this night they played not only Cave but Mk Ultra!!! :o:dead: Other highlights for me were Knights Of Cydonia, Unnatural Selection, New Born, Undisclosed Desires (this song practically killed me :dead:) and Plug In Baby.

So I tried to convert a friend of mine today. I was not very successful. :sad:

 

He told me that the band overall was quite good. He said, however, that Matt's voice didn't cut it for him. He described it as being "very shrewd." He put his opinions in a way to where I can fully respect him on his opinion...that is, until he said, "You'll never convert me, sorry." I was kind of mad, because it seemed like he didn't even want to consider anything that I was trying to point out.

 

Then, to make it worse, he started on Radiohead (which I had played for him earlier). He says, "You wanna know who that other band reminded me of? Green Day."

Yeah, I understand. "Showbiz" is my least fave album by far, although it's still good.

 

Actually, he's more of a jazz person. He also likes Switchfoot a lot.
