Lego Coldplay - Talk

Featured Replies

Hey all, I am a new user - although I have been reading the forums for some years now.

I thought I would join and be able to show this video to other Coldplay fans. This video is a recreation of the Talk video, but done in Lego. It is all my hard work and I would love for others to enjoy it.

Thanks!

There was recent talk about Coldplay and Lego when Chris and Jonny visited the Absolute Radio program a couple of months ago. You should email your youtube video to Anchorman and see if they'll feature it on their website or twit about it.

All Coldplay members are fathers and I suspect most of them are into Legos. I know Chris is.

Also, you can upload it to the coldplay.com exhibition room if you want.

I have done so, and worded it in to an Oracle question. I hope someone is paying attention!!!

That's perfect! Yeah, you should submit it to the Exhibition Room. I wish Anchorman will feature your video in Coldplay.com. Good job man :)

This is absolutely incredible!! How long did this take you? Really amazing job. Also, is it weird that I kind of have a crush on Lego Guy now???

It took me about a month to go through the video and break down each scene to work out what I needed to build (and the order to shoot it in). Then about 6 weeks of taking photos and 1 week of editing it all together.

All of this done of an evening and on weekends, Christmas holidays helped too! But I think about 150-200 hours of work to take 1800ish photos.

Glad you all like it :)

Your attention to detail is incredible! Thanks for posting this, it's wonderful and I really enjoyed it.

It's amazing!!! And I loved the details, e.g. the make trade fair sign on chris' hand!

Any chance for an download link from rapidshare or someone else?

Can´t see it in Germany -.-'

Are you the same person that made the Lego Viva La Vida video a while back?

You must have worked hard on this video, I loved it, was very well done ;)

Its funny ,as I once saw anchorman tweet about a similar lego coldplay video -viva la vida. Was that you too? I absolutely loved this one though , it was amazing!
