The Mad Hatter Posted October 28, 2012 Share Posted October 28, 2012 X&Y was the album that introduced me to Coldplay, so I pretty much in some way or another enjoy every song on that album. I've always thought the lyrics were awful, but I thought the piano redeemed it. It just sounds good. I don't have a problem with the song. But up to that point, most of their songs had been pretty solid in music and lyrical content. So this song feels kind of half-assed and like it leads to a future of shitty filler songs for albums. I have no words to describe the video- it's just... Coldplay. It's like the end of the "Talk" video, you're left asking "What did I just see?". :laugh3: I do think though there were songs on X & Y that could have been better singles than it...
