The Coldplay Theme Park Thread

Featured Replies

There should definitely be a huge hall/building/place :P where we could go and rave to Charlie Brown, with graffiti and neon lasers!

AAAAHHHH I want to go to this non-existent place now!!

And a butterfly atrium!

and a ball pit with yellow balls

A Puppet theatre

the possibilities are endless

Elephant petting zoo..

LOL..

By "elephants" you mean Coldplay members? Petting. :|

Also, Us Against The World might make a good paintball course, LOST! can be a maze...

I can't settle on what would be a good ferris wheel song...don't think Yellow can take that on.

Have we talked about the water park extension yet?

Every Teardrop is a Waterfall - water slides with all the MX colors!

Crests of Waves - the wave pool, of course :P

And the park should have different departments/entries (Disney has that too right?) and every entry is called after an album and the roller coasters like speed of sound, don';t panic, etc are in the entries of the album they belong to :D

i think I wouldn't wanna go in a roller coaster names 'cemeteries of london'

ooooh i have so many ideas!! The EHBO section will be called 'help is around the corner' and the maze will be called 'lost' and the waterside must be called every teardrop is a waterfall of swallowed in the sea

Swallowed In The Sea can be a water ride where everyone drowns :awesome:

And in each "land" the attendants are dressed in clothes from that album's era--Parachutes land they are wearing grubby tees and jeans and X&Y land they wear all black, etc!

yes yes yes!!!!!

When you walk into such a "land" you have to feel like you're walking into the album!

^ I think the Viva-era section would be amazing! :awesome: And the X&Y area would have to be all space-themed (Think of the Talk video :D)

A couple of my ideas:

There could be CCTV cameras shaped like the Major Minus 'eyes'.

Twisted Logic would be a corkscrew-like roller coaster that twists and turns everywhere.

At the entrance to each 'land' would be something themed after the opening song from that album i.e. the Don't Panic coaster would be at the entrance to the Parachutes section.

And what would a Coldplay theme park be without bumper-Car Kids :P

^I'd rather drown with that song as a soundtrack than Celine Dion's My heart will go on

Post Of The DAY!

 to 'Bumper-car Kids',lol!

LOL! THAT'S perfect!

Cemeteries of London could be the Ghost train..

Oh, how I love this!!!

I just don´t understand how Chris comes up with these genius things! They probably have been thinking/talking/fantasising about it themselves.

I meann, how can you come up with it if you never thought about it???

Haha, I actually created a Coldplay theme park in Roller Coaster Tycoon years ago. Even customized the sound to play Coldplay songs. It was pretty epic. :D

Wow, cool. Do you have any screencaps? Would be nice to see it!

YES YES YES! I so wanna go here!!!

I've got another idea - Up In Flames could be this game where everyone's stuck in a burning building and has to find their way out before the whole goes, well, up in flames lol.

Every Teardrop is a Waterfall could be this water park area with loads of flumes. :awesome:

There'd be great games for the kids too...like a scavenger hunt...called 'Everything's Not Lost'.

Scavenger hunt, yeah. Like all the ideas here, coldplayers have imaginations. The car kidz bumper rides, the waterfall, waterpark, strawberry swings. Like the idea of a COL maze, where you walk into a dark, ghostly, foggy place and try not to step on any cemetery plots and if you did, you get some cold, spray air blow under you as you see hallographic witches and ghosts floating around you. :D

The Jonny and Chrissy Tunnel of Love :dazzled:

:laugh3: But everything seems to be named after songs, so it could be called One I Love (with a picture of Jonny on the sign;))
