March 28, 201214 yr I don't read very much, but I really liked The Outsiders, which I read in 7th grade, and The Great Gatsby which I read this year. The latter you'll probally read in school if you haven't already, and it's a little advanced in its subject matter, but I thought it was great. Those two are standouts for me, and I usually don't like books, so that must mean they're pretty good.:) Oh, and Jurassic Park is good too of you liked the movie. It goes a lot deeper, but there might be some gruesome stuff in there. It's pretty good though.

Also my favorite classic, 'Wuthering Heights'. Further, the 'A Song of Fire and Ice' series of which the 'Game of Thrones' tv series is based.

I love El Túnel (The Tunnel) by Ernesto Sabato; I don't know how hard it is to find it in english, but if you come across it, you should definitely read it. I think "The Great Gatsby" took a little bit more effort to get into, but that's alright. The Catcher in the Rye Frankenstein To Kill a Mockingbird :nod: "Frankenstein" in particular is SO much better in book form than it is in movie format. The tone is much darker. The other two are just fine as well. Also my favorite classic, 'Wuthering Heights'. :dazzled: One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest - Ken Kesey YES YES YES. The book is ten times better than the movie, and I'm a huge fan of the movie. My brother (who hates reading) even said it's probably the best book he has ever read. Please check it out. I recommend some of Ayn Rand's books, like The Fountainhead and Anthem. :nod: I've never read The Fountainhead, but I'll vouch for Anthem.
