Hello coldplayers,

i think most of us new members have been lurkers on this forum lol. Decided it was about that time for me to join in the fun. I dont remember when i discovered coldplay but i know when i heard the song amsterdam in A Rush of Blood to the Head album, i fell in love. Till date that is my favorite album.

From their current album mylo xyloto my favs are Paradise(i feel like that song was written for me, i'm sure so does everyone else lol), U.F.O(short sweet and personal with God), ETIAW(butterflies and more butterflies.)

Most of my friends think i'm weird for lsitening to coldplay and say coldplay songs are depressing. I tell them they just don't get it. I've surprisingly managed to turn my brother and sister into coldplay fans. Maybe they had no choice as i made sure they listened to nothing else but coldplay:D.

A little bout meself, i'm from cameroon (thats in west africa, just incase you were wondering where that was. but i live in Georgia. Never been to a coldplay concert. Would like to go to the upcoming one on july 2 in atlanta, still undecided as to whether i would be able drive 4 hours alone to see my fav band. Will be deciding that tonight.

Welcome to Coldplaying!! I'd strongly suggest you see them this tour if you have the chance! I saw them my first time this last Friday and they put on the most incredibly awesome show EVERRRR!! It's one of those things you can't describe in words, but you have to experience yourself to understand. :wacko: But once again, welcome to Coldplaying! Hope you have lots of fun here!! :D :D

Good news is i will be seeing them July 2nd . I'm soo excited. Although my section maybe a little far way, i'm just happy to be going finally. One day im just gonna plan ahead and get front row. If they've not already sold them to VIP members or something.

I kept lurking for ages before I signed up, so I can relate to what you're saying. Also, at first, I didn't remember when I'd met Coldplay, but the first song by them I ever listened was Clocks, but I didn't really know it was Coldplay, all I knew was that I liked the song a lot. Years later, I listened to Fix You, now knowing it was by Coldplay.
