Last time you were really happy

Featured Replies

I was just wondering when the last time you all felt really happy, I know it's been a long time for me..I mean, I've been content with how things are going but I haven't actually felt happiness for a while now, how about you all, when was the last time you were really happy?

Maybe if you turned off that Radiohead and put in something a little more chipper you'd find happiness.

I keed.

When was the last time I was truly happy?

Probably towards the beginning of my last relationship, about four years ago ...

Which is not to say I have been unhappy since. I just haven't been as high.

I'm not saying i'm unhappy I'm just saying I'm pretty neutral right now, as for the radiohead comment, I don't listen to a lot of radiohead, I just happen to like the song :dozey:

I'm always neutral. :dozey:

It's unnatural.

yeah no surprises is a bit depressing. the last time i was truly happy was when i was at a festival with a really gorgeous friend of mine :D

Uhm..I'm like soleil, always neutral.

I never really experience great highs or great lows

I dunno...the last time I was really happy would of been a couple weeks before school finished, there was this one night with my friends...pretty fun[ny]. :smug:

Last time I was really happy, I really don't know. I am may be very happy when I am listening to my music. I may be happy when I speak with someone and hear their voice for the first time in ages. I am happy when I am with my friends, I am also happy when you get a cute smile of a baby.

BTW don't let anyone tell ya listening to Radiohead, Coldplay, Muse whatever you like is not depressing that is how some people just see it.

Well, I`ve discovered happiness last year... And I´m happy since then...

I was SO happy on sunday night! gotta talk to my sexy man for the last time before he left toronto...ah! and....i can't wait till he gets back. SO HAPPY! :D :D

I'm happy with most things except 1...well 2 :dozey:

but ah well..it's christmas! :D :P

The last time I was really happy, when I finished Secondary school. :)

Whenever I'm out with my mates I'm happy, always have a great laugh with my mates. :D

Maybe if you turned off that Radiohead and put in something a little more chipper you'd find happiness.

hahaha

"but im a creep im a looseerr... so fucking special..."

radiohead?

depressing?

proposterous

im happy whenever i listen to coldplay, other than that im pretty neutral.

I think total happiness doesn't exist. I always try to find happiness in the little things...

Last time: today, having lunch in a japanese restaurant with some funny jobmates. Two hours ago, with my family, making jokes about my sister's boyfriend ( :P). These days, receiving e-cards, mails and sms from nice people.

But the last GREAT happy days were the last summer holidays, in England. Yeeeeeessssss, I was so happy there... :D

the last and only time i was happy was about 2 years ago, before that it was all crap, but now everythings just kinda flatlined, so im on par with soleil and girlstar

reminds me what a guy at work said when i had radiohead playing (i think lucky was on), he said "isnt that the kind of music that you listen to when youre trying to commit suicide?", we just looked at him funny then played street spirit really loud

i think the closest i've ever been to being truly happy was about a year ago when everything seemed to be going great. i was doing well in school, and interested in my classes for a change, and i was making lots of new friends, and to top it all off, i had a wonderful girlfriend who loved me (we've always had, and still have, a bond that transcends any label you could put on it. "soulmate" comes to mind but that doesn't quite nail it)

now it's a year later and i'm on the verge of dropping out of school, i've shut off all but a select few of my friends, my family is falling apart in a huge way, it hurts just to think about my ex-girlfriend (because that bond apparently can still exist outside the realm of a "boyfriend-girlfriend" relationship, and there's nothing we both want more than to resume some sort of friendship, but it just hurts too much right now), and i'm on anti-depressants and seeing a therapist twice a week.

obviously there are people worse off than me, but i've had a rough few months... sorry for venting. :P

That's perfectly ok Tom :) I hope everything works out for ya

Hmmm... I dunno. Everytime I feel in love and know it's mutual I'm really happy. I've been really happy these last few months, on and off, yet lately I seem to have lost this feeling.

I guess I'm also neutral... I used to be really depressive but I've overcome it in a way.
