I've been a smoker for the best part of 2 years now, and every time some finds out I smoke they say something along the lines of "I Have never met a Coldplay fan that smokes before! That's well weird!"

I don't, but my parents do quite a lot so I breathe in all their shit lol

I don't, but when I was in the queue on the day of the Coldplay concert I went to, I did see some fans smoking.

It isn't very interesting, to be honest with you.

 

I smoked socially here and there since I was like 15, when I first started smoking another substance slightly less legal (again, here and there). Often, when I was drunk and felt a bit ill, I'd have a cig and I'd feel tonnes better.

 

Then I came to university, found myself drunk a lot more. I woke up one morning of freshers week, and felt like death. Had a cig from my flat mate, felt better, and the rest is history.

 

If I'm honest, I know I have it in me to quit - I don't have an addictive personality, never have. Its just that (SPOILER - UPCOMING CLICHÉ) I enjoy it to much ahaha! :laugh3:

I've worked in Darwen before at Holy Trinity Primary School (when I was training to be a teacher before I dropped out). I live in a town not far from Blackburn but I don't really wanna give away too much info online so don't know why I brought it up haha. My Dad also lived in Darwen as a child.

I nearly went to Trinity, ended up at Avondale :) Its a lovely little town is Darwen.

I only know Trinity as I worked there. Was a nice school. Don't know an awful lot more about the place as I tend to head closer to Accrington when it comes to socialising (few friends there, not because Accy is nice).

Blackburn used to be a bit better when Cellar Bar was around (but not in its later years). Now I'm not even sure it has a night life. I know there used to be Liquid but if there's only one place you're going to get all the idiots there so isn't worth it.

Ahh okay. I never really understood social smoking until I started being friends who do.

Smoking just didn't do anything for me. I've tried and I had no great feelings one way or the other, haha. It was just like "okay... what now?" haha.

 

I couldn't stand my clothes smelling like that D; no offence, but it's pretty bad sometimes. I've started hanging out in the smoking room talking to people when I got out. I'll go home and my parents will tell me I stink :laugh3:

I can understanding smoking weed, but not cigarettes. I've tried them quite often when drunk and they've done nothing for me either (apart from make me look ridiculously cool, obviously... or not) but when sober they really seem like an awful idea.

Liquid is still going, I'm going down on Saturday for a mates night out - its a dingy little cesspit, but its my friends birthday, so what can I do? Darwen has a good night life though, Bridgewater then Marigolds :)
