I don't know what the relation between the Scientist and Lips Like Sugar is to be honest, but I tried to indicate an echo as a clue. Given that Echo and the Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch actually listened to AROBTTH with Chris and critiqued and helped shape it (like I heard), some lines in Crests of Waves are almost certainly a nod to the last track on their 4th album (Ocean Rain). Not only - beaten down by this ocean rain - but also the similarity in the lines Screaming out from the crest of waves (CP)/ Screaming from beneath the waves (EATBM). There is a cover of "Lips like sugar" on the 2002 DVD single "The Scientist" (performed in Paris). For my next riddle, I want to do something different, not Guess Colplay Song, but Guess Nie's Theory. :D Why did I give this answer Life is for living?
