Life is for living?

Up with the birds?

Death and all his friends?

(oh and I do have a theory for these, not just guessing the last nrs on the records).

No....

This clue is still not interpreted correctly, I think. to A Rush Of Blood To The Head ! (To the head, the head, head....) What sound structure does this remind you of ?

Oceans?

I think this has to be Crest of Waves

The relation with AROBTTH is Echo & The Bunnymen (The scientist - Lips like sugar)

4th album = Ocean Rain

In Crest of waves there is this line:

Beaten down by this ocean rain

I think this has to be Crest of Waves

You got it ! I don't know what the relation between the Scientist and Lips Like Sugar is to be honest, but I tried to indicate an echo as a clue. Given that Echo and the Bunnymen frontman Ian McCulloch actually listened to AROBTTH with Chris and critiqued and helped shape it (like I heard), some lines in Crests of Waves are almost certainly a nod to the last track on their 4th album (Ocean Rain).

Not only - beaten down by this ocean rain - but also the similarity in the lines Screaming out from the crest of waves (CP)/ Screaming from beneath the waves (EATBM).

Your turn ! :)

Wow! Way over my head. I was so sure it was True Love! Still amazed at your brilliance, both Nie and I Ran Away!!

wow, I had to dig deep for this one, nice riddle!

There is a cover of "Lips like sugar" on the 2002 DVD single "The Scientist" (performed in Paris).

For my next riddle, I want to do something different, not Guess Colplay Song, but Guess Nie's Theory. :D

Why did I give this answer

Life is for living?

(oh and I do have a theory for these, not just guessing the last nrs on the records).

to this riddle?

Go to the last track on the fourth album of those who are linked to A Rush Of Blood To The Head ! (To the head, the head, head....)

No

Wow, even I forgot about this riddle. :D

I will "enlighten" my brain a little bit for you:

you can skip the (To the head, the head, head....) part, it has nothing to do with my theory

Another tip:

"those who are linked" refers not to singles or discs, but to another artist which you have to find as an intermediate step.

Sorry, I give up.

I have the feeling that everyone else has too. :(

I think it is time for me to quit this game.

My theory was:

when you follow I Ran Away's riddle :

Go to the last track on the fourth album of those who are linked to A Rush Of Blood To The Head !

you get:

AROBTTH --> those who are linked

--> 4th album of Ken Nelson

--> last track of Parachutes

If there is anyone out there who wants to do a new riddle, be my gues[t|s].

Yeahhhh... nobody would have gotten that :D

(Sometimes) my brain looks like a maze, I know. [emoji38]

Too bad he wasn't around with CP longer. Great catch, Nie!

So is this thread OVER? We need another new riddle. I know it isn't my turn, but I hope nobody minds if I try one, to breathe life into this thread. I'll try tomorrow if no one jumps in.
