OK, so figured I'd set up a new thread for the hell of it, to get to know some of the regular posters a bit more on here. I'm not talking personal details, more just a few conversations that tell people a bit about their interests and their outlook and their music taste and all that jazz, avoiding any details they don't want to have posted on here.

 

It won't be an interview as such, it will be more random questions thrown at the person, some completely random, some a little deeper.

 

I'm up for suggestions on how to sort this thing out (who is interviewing, on what platform it will take place - Skype, Msn Messenger if it still exists, PM's) and how to present the whole thing. And I'm fine if this is a shit idea and nobody wants to do it.

 

I think it would be wise if the person who is being interviewed gets to see the final copy/recording/whatever before it goes out, ensuring they are happy with it and edits can be made.

 

I've no problem holding the first interview, though I'm sure others could do a better job. People could also stick their question suggestions in this thread. This thread is basically a rip off of that thread that was recently created where that guys answers questions, except it's more of a series with different people, and it might be presented in a different platform.

How about people send in some questions? (by PM). Then a select few members go through the questions and get a good varied selection. They make a list of about about 15 or so :shrug: and then send the list of Qs people can post their As, or maybe do a video post :shrug:

yeah, how about the list is made up (as a guide, of course you can vary from it).

And then you can do it over skype and then post the conversation, or with a video use screen recording software? :shrug:

This forum is almost dead now and I think that this could help resurrect it.

I like it also, but I'd feel a bit weird having a public video of myself for non-cpers to see...

idk how you would make stuff private or whatevs, it might be just me.

Perhaps we could request a private section of the board be created for it, for members only. And it wouldn't have to be a video when I say skype.

It could be different for everyone depending on what they are comfortable with. Text, voice or vid.

Could be cool. If you know how to sort the logistics of recording a 2 person interview (presumably just audio?) it might be really interesting/disastrous. The simpler/lamer alternative is just said person posting a video of them answering a list of questions.

I think I'd rather do one not live on skype just answer the questions and film it myself because I get really awkward when I know people can hear my voice.
