Most of the audience are fellow musicians and nothing comes out until the show on Tuesday. I read a synopsis saying that they would be showcasing ghost stories songs but it i'd say it would be ones we've heard

Ahh, yeah, I don't get Jools Holland in Canada but from what I know of it (from the previous times they played there) its mostly an album showcase. I'm still surprised not more has been said about it though. Even their live thread is kinda dead

I find this album has brought out the extremely secretive side to the band and I must admit I didn't expect a new album until the iTunes festival and new font on the pages were posted usually a new font a new era. But the hooks holland performance should be good they played a good few tracks last time with mx

Forgot about Saturday Night Live May 3rd. Is SNL taped the same day it airs? For some reason I don't think it's literally live. Anyways may be 7 days not 9 to rest up.

SNL is live as far as I know.

Thanks for setting me straight. I know that some shows like Letterman,Jimmy Kimmel etc are "live" in terms of the fact they are taped in front of a live audience and I don't think they do takes; it's one and done. Not 100% sure about that. Is anyone lucky enough to be going to the SNL show?

Your welcome :) and I get what you mean. It's hard to know whats live and what's not but SNL is one that's done completely live.

I don't know if it will be completely live but the recording of the show is on Tuesday (they were announced to be on Jools Holland on April 29 and if you wanted to be in the crowd, you would apply for April 29).
