Chris Martin, the "Coldplay" frontman and his "consciously uncoupled" actress wife Gwyneth Paltrow have kept their separation super amicable for the sake of their children. And when time came for the family to travel to the Hamptons for the summer, Martin went on to rent a home right beside their Hamptons residence to keep it civilized.

Curbed Hamptons is reporting that the "Magic" crooner is shelling out some dollars to rent the house at 23 Old Montauk Highway, which is just next door to their house at 35 Old Montauk Highway.

 

According to the listing records, the house is asking $25,000 for a short term lease and $60,000 for an extended lease.

The residence is a 5,500-square-foot, single-family home comprised of five bedrooms and five and a half bathrooms.

The newly-built home features hardwood flooring, large glass doors and windows and high ceilings.

Living spaces include a formal living area, a dining space, a modern eat-in kitchen and private terraces from the upper level bedrooms.

Outside, the house has a pool and ample recreation areas. There is a screened porch and parking space as well.

i think the reason must be that it was the nearest house to gwyneth's that was available to rent/buy

This could only mean he is planning a massive pool party with his new best friends Pitbull and Nicki Minaj. Might help with their collaboration for the next record.

He probably just wants to be able to be with his children and not have to make them travel all the time.

its 5 full bathrooms that include a toilet, bath, sink/s and shower and a half bath is just a toilet and a sink..usually the half baths are on the main level so you just run in and can have a wee wash your hands HTH

This made me LOL for reals lololol

 

All I can offer is I have dual Citizenship so I can travel with him to and fro the US to UK whenever he likes :) I also went to culinary school so I can cook him his meals just the way he likes them lololol

Now am I crazy or was a Californication episode recorded in that exact house? I dont know if anyone here watches that series but that house looks exactly like it.
