I've gotten through a few times. The worst is when it starts ringing and no one picks up, then after about 30 rings, it goes to fast busy. I'm so frustrated.

 

And KROQ even said the theatre holds 1600. KROQ is giving away 125 pairs of tickets (250 total seats), Beats gave away like 25 pairs (50 seats). That's 300. Who has the other 1300 tickets??? Sucks if it's Atlantic Records, because we ALL know how much Coldplay like their big fans in the front rows, hell, they like big fans in the whole venue! I was at Weenie Roast a couple of years ago, Coldplay headlined and closed the show. It was so NOT a Coldplay crowd. I had the chance to speak to Chris a couple of weeks later, and mentioned Weenie Roast and even he said it was "not good." So I hope it's not just a bunch of too-cool-for-you industry peeps who are just handed promo tickets.

I was at the weenie roast too! Yeah the crowd was meh.. oh well. (was my first time seeing them live) but the Royce Hall show was incredible! I only snagged one ticket though :( I hope they open up all those seats soon.. maybe we'll get lucky!

Well, my Coldplay luck seems to have run out. I know there are KROQ winners who are selling their plus-1 tickets, but at this point in time, I just can't do $150-200 and up. So I will have to be content to listen to the radio with my eyes closed and picture the whole thing in my imagination. KROQ mentioned today that it's an 80 minute set. And I have been lucky enough to see 2 Ghost Stories shows from the front row, and at the end of show 2, literally up against the stage. I will be content with that until their next big tour. The MX era was pure magic for me, and my Ghost Stories time was magic as well, so I need to hold on to that.

Totally unrelated but I can ask how you got to see coldplay on both their RAH gigs? Couldn't get tickets for either dates!

Tbh, I got lucky during those times, all I needed was hope and luck :)

I was struggling to get tickets for both shows tbh, the line up was really bad through gigsandtours but I finally managed to get them :nice:

If I see it right it's not Cris selling it, he just tweeted the link where someone is selling tix on craigslist.

Hi all. I just found out about the live broadcast of tonight's Coldplay show. Is there a link to where we can listen to live? Or do we really have to download the app? I've already downloaded the app but it already is giving me a headache and I'm not sure how to use it. Please let me know. Thanks. :)

I won tickets through the Beats Music contest. It's a beautiful historic venue. They've added small Coldplay touches (quotes from the songs on the mirrors, projecting the words "sky full of stars" on the balcony. The show should start in a few minutes but the venue's only half full right now.
