Featured Replies

I was watching the U2 World Aids Day Concert with Chris Martin in it and I noticed something during a close up...

Random thread is random

Also that's not a wedding ring its just something he wears from time to time (I think)

:nod: :nod: Yep thats what I thought too

I did notice though that he was trying his best to cover up the fact he was wearing it throughout the gig, so if it was just a random thing he wears from time to time and not something that would spark a debate why would he be trying to hide it?

Also I think the fact of the lighting and also poor quality of the video may have affected the ring's appearance.

this is a black ring. not one he was wearing before. but like cakey said, he had this with moses during that dallas trip. looks like matching rings. and if wanted to cover it up, why wear it at all?

As I said it may be the light and quality of the video that made it look black at that angle. Watch the video. He makes every effort to cover it, in fact this is the only shot where it's not covered.

If it was his wedding ring, he'd be wearing it on his 4th finger, not his pinky. He used to wear both rings.

and if wanted to cover it up, why wear it at all?

Yes, yes, 1000x yes.

[smoke is rising from the houses]

it is the ring he used to wear on his little finger, that is identical to the one Jonny sometimes wears..just saying :charming:

Well to put it on his 4th finger would be too obvious, wouldn't it? Giving the game away. And he may well have 2 rings on again somewhere down the line... Can't see into the future, who knows...

But trust me when I say he was going to quite good lengths to keep it covered. It seems as if this was revealed by accident.

let me join the group:
