Everyone who has heard it is letting us know that all will become clear. I guess we'll just have to wait for it I guess, and it will all make sense when it does happen...

To be fair, people were great about not leaking audio/video of ASFOS or True Love when they played shows prior to GS's release. Coldplay fans are just good like that. :)

this particular incident with chris seems to have happened after the talk, when he was leaving the venue. i have no reason to believe these lucky fans are lying :)

 

since it’s pretty much confirmed that Coldplay will be releasing ahfod on December 4…the three of us ( @guysberryman & @championed) decided we can finally tell you what we’ve been keeping secret for a month….I wrote the entire thing down the day after it happened while sitting at Dallas BBQ with Syd and Sarah….

 

tl;dr…we listened to Coldplay on a NYC sidewalk with Chris Martin but here’s the entire thing that happened as i wrote it the day after:

 

So after we got everything signed chris was like “do you wanna see something cool” and we were like yeah!! And he was like promise you won’t tell anybody and we were like ofc.

 

Then he took his phone out of his pocket.

 

Unlocked his phone with his passcode.

 

His phone was open to his email in landscape mode and he turned the phone to make sure it was in portrait.

 

Then he clicked the home page and went through his apps and opened his music app. I saw the weeknd’s album cover in his recently added and like 3 things without covers.

 

Then he clicked something and it was like a whole bunch of songs and he was like “this is our album” and he was like scrolling and shit and so ofc we were curious and all three of our heads leaned in. And at that point he was like “don’t look too hard” and like covered his phone a little and we were like sorry and leaned away from his phone again.

 

Then he said “and this is our new single” and started playing the song right in front of us. And he was like “can you hear this?” And turned the volume up and cupped the phone so that it would play louder. We heard Jonny’s guitar and Chris was bouncing up and down next to us and he was like “this is gonna make people dance” and all of our heads were just crowded in a circle all huddled over his phone listening to the song.

 

And then the beat dropped and the drums came in and all of our heads shot up and we were all like “I LIKE IT!!!” And he was like “I do too” and he was soooooooo happy that we liked it his face literally went to :D bc we said we liked it like it was just the best moment ever we just stood in a circle close to Chris and listening to coldplay

 

and since i know there’s gonna be people that think we’re lying here’s our texts freaking out bc we promised Chris not tell anyone but we told family and friends who aren’t coldplay fans wouldn’t tell anyone

Mmmmm... I too had a feeling it wasn't your 'moment', as wonderful as it was for those lucky people. So - still waiting for all to be revealed. What a trustworthy,faithful person you are.

Everyone's just so excited to hear about that moment! But you writing in the dark during a lecture just to tell us everything (or most of what) you heard and/or seen really is something wonderful, and we're all very thankful for that, I'm sure [emoji6]
