Hey all,

 

Looking for what people think are the best Coldplay shows? This word 'best' can obviously mean anything but I really dig when Chris changes lyrics, adds new improvs to piano/singing for example Toronto end of Square One. Beginning of Viva La Vida at Glastonbury etc.

There are probably a lot of "great" Coldplay shows but they're either not recorded or not recorded professionally. If you're gonna be that guy then I'm pretty sure every show is the best show.

    When I feel sad, I watch Toronto 2006, Tokyo 2009 or Glastonbury 2012. Among the show aired in TV, I think that they are the best

    Do you happen to have Glastonbury 99 in your collection ?

     

    Among my favorite shows are Glastonbury 2005 (an one of the reasons is that so many X&Y songs were played !!), Glastonbury 2002, the MTV Live Leak 2005 and the Bizarre Festival 2000.

    My personal favourite so far is Paris 2012. I loved it both while I was there but also every time I re-watch it on the blu-ray.

    My favorite recorded concerts: Glastonburry 2011 (maybe my number 1 pick) / 2005, Live 2003, How We Saw The World - Toronto, Rock in Rio 2011, London Paralympics Ceremony 2012, BBC Theater 2008 (my favorite of the Viva Era), Itunes Festival 2014 (first Ghost Stories gig), Live 2012.

     

    Honorable mention, A.K.A not official recorded: Coldplay Crossing Border Festival 2000 (first time they played In My Place live).
