Ok, so my plan for the upcoming hours: - charge my phone (doing it right now)

- have lunch somewhere

- maybe nap a bit in the hotel lobby

- check in and head to the O2 directly after that (should be there by 3, i hope)

Maybe the first person from the forum to be at the O2 can give us an update q'ing wise.

Hey guys,

I was going to go up early to queue too-- but I was told there is strictly no entry/pre-queuing for the show at Indigo until 8pm via their Twitter team (due to The Brits traffic/people/crowds)...

Means what? I'm sure a lot of people will arrive much earlier than 8 pm. Will they send you away or make you wait somewhere else?

EDIT: Posted by indigo at the O2 twitter

"Please be aware that due to the high cap of people entering for the @brits there will be no early queue system for @Coldplay tomorrow"

So what if you are just standing there? You are not allowed to stand in a public place just because you want to stand there? Will they put you in handcuffs? [emoji28]

I'm planning on getting up there for about 6pm as well. So if you need some company at the bar (I'm flying solo for the eve, hurrah, and therefore need to make more Coldplaying friends :p)

Yeah that's my thoughts. I would really like to be on barrier but I reckon it's going to be a pain by the looks of it... I'm so confused what is going on.

Thankfully I've found myself a hostel for the night as they say that the show is curfewed for 1:30am.

Are you heading in the general direction of Tower Hill/Aldgate after the show?

Last time I queued for entry at one of their shows (think it was Snow Patrol) and was told there was no queuing before a certain time they had barriers across and a lot of security who escorted you from the area every time...

Afraid not. I'm going back to city centre (hostel is at Russell Square because of the nightbus)

Sounds like a plan guys, I'm on my own too so will head to the bar across the way from the IndigO2 from around 6:30/7pm and check-in with the board to see if anyone's around for a drink.

If you tell me the exact location.

Sounds good, do you think we will be able to get there? Seems like it's inside the O2, won't it be for people with brits tickets only?

It's inside the O2 complex but outside any of the O2 venues. It's still a public access service so hopefully they shouldn't be able to stop us going for a drink!

We can but try.

Right, just booked a cab to take me home, I gambled at 1:15am as they say latest cabs should be booked for 1:30am. I reckon the show will be over by 12:30-12:45am.

SFK

Is it a must to book a cab in advance or can you still get one at the spot?
