It doesn't make so much sense. But I'll admit that I do prefer the performances themselves, how it sounds, back then then here today. I think it makes the performance better though. True. And that is part of the reason why these performances back then seems better sounding probably... I tihnk he did it just enough back in the day now that I've seen whole performances of these earlier era concerts and watching it with yall.. Enough to make the show exciting, but not so much that he's out of breath literally every second and his voice as a result becomes shaky. He's getting up there too, so there's that.
