I don't know. The only thing that I can tell you is that I wouldn't do such thing but still I don't know the other's opinion about this topic.

If I said that was because a long time ago I posted a picture of mine on this thread (one that was taken when was in Paris, in a trip) and a member of this forum misuse it. A couple of days later (after posting my picture), while checking some links that some Cping members had on their signatures (yes, I was bored I guess), I found out that one of the members had a blog (by chance) and I saw that she had written an entry in which she posted my picture there but of course not exactly the same picture. She had changed my face and had put hers, so imagine how I felt. :angry:

 

And that's why I don't feel it's safe to post a picture of yours here - could my reasons be more logic than that?

 

Ohhh, I remember this, you had an argue with that girl but I don't actually remember who she is...

 

But well, I understand, it's pretty scary!!

Are you people aware of how other people could use YOUR photos on the internet? :o

To be honest I didn't try to resemble to the style of the girl in my avatar intentionally. A few months ago, for some strange reasons I felt the need to go to the hairdresser's and get a new look because I was sort of tired of always looking the same way... but I never thought of that actress by then. But yeah, that's true, I've already realised while posting my picture here that we look alike!

I'm going to post a couple of pictures, cos I don't think I have in a while and also selecting them killed 5 mins :P

i dunno what happens with me and pictures this week but i feel in the mood to post a pic of me... (i just had removed my picture) to leave just the pics of our visit to Guimaraes and the Latada. (although it should be on Erasmus thread) will post pics of my room if i get to move them from my mobile to the laptop.

 

The visit to Guimaraes:

 

 

^a statue of a king i think.. the guy is Aras, litunatian.(he's gone this term)

 

 

^a pics of the castle.

 

^another erasmus (Cypruss) lol i don't remember his name now.

 

^more Erasmus people in the castle.

 

^resting on a square, the guy on the fountain is Boldon (Hungary) (he's gone this semester), the others in the front side are: Chris (Cypruss), Ekle (Lutiania) (them are dating), back there are two of the three turkish girls: Deniz and Buldun. (Deniz is dating a spanish Erasmus, Fernando).

 

 

 

^we stopped on a place here, here were some handywork things that you could buy.

 

^on a cool arch on a square, again Erasmus people there.

 

^same arch, different Erasmus people. (Aras, Laura (spanish, the only spanish that came to this trip, the other spanish people were in Coimbra that weekend) and Boldon)

 

^the cross of the arch.

 

^a cool church, on a great avenue in Guimaraes.

 

Latada:

 

I will explain you in which it does consists on:

students march from a park at the outskirts of the city (called Fondela i think) through all the city until they get back to another park, near the fair area (Feria de Sao Mateus), that is near Viriato's cave, older students 'cheat' and 'trick' the newbies (like pour them powder on their head and stuff like that :uhoh: (i have this on video, not pictures). is called 'Latada' because they make noise with metal things all the time.

 

^at the begining (the guy with the black suit is Miguel (our mentor, he was on Erasmus in Poland last year, the girl next to him is a turkish Erasmus, which name i never remember lol. they are dating since 2 weeks after they met)

^yet in the park

 

^some people, with their black cape.

 

^them are from my class (3rd year).

In May, during Quiema das Fitas, all students will wear this black suit with the cape (i want to buy this suit, i haven't bought it yet).

i couldn't took as many pics as i would like to in both as i used my mobile camera for that (i forgot to had brought here my digital one :confused:) Guimaraes is very beaufitul :nice: in fact is Unesco declared, all the city centre, the castle and a palace. (we couldn't visit the palace because it was expensive the ticket entrance of it :P).
