It will be a piece of cake. :awesome:

  • Finally a new album from the band! Haven't heard the full album yet, just the 3 pre-released songs and they're great.

btw, is it known what happend to Gary? was it really a pub fight? or some sport injury?

Speaking of teir "Best Irish Band", here's the proof that they actually won:

That just totally made my day.

As sad as I am about the fact that they weren't there in person and didn't perform, I absolutely adore that video... :laugh3:

Oh dear, poor Gary... I mean, if a non-talking Gary is not the weirdest thing ever, I don't know. :laugh3:

Looks like they're having a fairly good time in L.A. ... Wouldn't mind if they came back soon, though. ;)

Oh, and, I should say: Gotta loooove Nathan's acceptance speeches. Priceless.

Oh this is so cute... Love it...

that video is so cute. :awesome:

^yeah it is :D

i can't wait for Tired Pony and Listen...Tanks! but I guess it wont be out as soon now:(

Hey everyone!!!

I saw a trailer for "Leap Year" in the movies yesterday and JUST SAY YES is in it...

i was just watching random SP videos when I found this hilarious video. The sound quality is kind of crappy when drums kick off, but the beggining talk about "kissing his abs" and "run" is so funny. And when that guy shouted "I love you Gary" i pissed myself :D

I love his banters. Like himself in one interview said that he likes to communicate with the audience and he hates when other bands barely says hi and don't talk with audience. He likes to show the fans that they can actualy see them. That's why I love him.

I love him for that too... When I saw them thi summer he made all these jokes and talked to people. He was funny and charming. :D And he always dedicades his songs to someone in the crowd-

Aww, you know what? You just chose a video from my first SP gig. :) I loved that part, I thought it was SO hilarious! But I must admit that I didn't quite get the point when he talked about "kissing his abs" at that time, I only understood it afterwards.

I also have a video of "Run", but I unfortunately didn't catch the stuff he talked before he played the song. But I DO have the part where the guy shouted out to Gary.:laugh3: His reaction was really cute. :nice:

Just in case you're interested, here's the video:

And yeah, I certainly agree with the both of you! Gary's outstanding communication talent is one thing why I love them so much. I think it's very unique and makes them special compared to many other bands. :)

^in your video you can see his reaction a lot better when that weird guy shouted :D

I love how he smiles troughout most of the song. He seemed to be in such a good mood that night. Though he is like that in most of the videos

I'm so enviuos to all of you guys, because you have a chance to bands live.

NOBODY comes to where I live. The nearest direction to me where Coldplay or SP ever was is thousands and thousands kilometres away.

I've never been to any foreign band's gig. there no proper festivals. nothing at all ;(

awww...it's not much better for me back in Malaysia. Coldplay's gone to Singapore about 3 times, but that's about 5hrs' drive away from my hometown. & Snow Patrol've so far never come to Malaysia or Singapore even. so i had to come to UK to see the guys... :dozey:

well, ok...i didn't really plan it out that way...i just got lucky that they were even having a gig at the city i'm in now. but i hear that there might be a chance they're going to Malaysia this year...while i'm here in the UK. talk about irony...if it does happen. :P

I like the sound of that hopefully they drop by here as well if not Malaysia here i come.

Yay, Snow Patrol @ LKA! (Drove past it yesterday, gooooooooood memories. :nice:)

Happy belated birthday, Jonny! :cheesy:

I celebrated it yesterday (although the 'party' I was at was for something else), but missed on the cake. Anyway ...

People in Ireland hate these guys.

Probably because people in Ireland are usually too hammered to distinguish between good and bad music.

(JOKE POST, no offense to any Irish members :P)

Bumping...:D

I FINALLY watched all the Up to Now docs this past weekend and absolutely loved them. Now I can't wait for them to tour again!! I hope Coldplay gets something like that DVD together soon!

*jelous* I wanta to look at those vids

I'm sorry Miguel! :( did you ever get any version of Up to Now? My husband ending up ordering mine on ebay, I think.

I'd rip them and upload them if I had any idea how to do such a thing. Did you check on the SP downloads thread? I thought I remembered seeing something about them there.

hahah I know you are joking - but i have Irish boys who live right across the hall from me....needless to say they are usually pretty wasted (this morning they came stumbling in at 4:30, tried to get into my apt, and then went to theirs only to blare music... until 6 am.

they are adorable, but to to it all off....they despise snow patrol (and U2).:dozey:

@ Jen & Miguel - I've been looking for those vids on the SP downloads too! I'll let you know when i find them! :)

I think most of you received the email anyways, but I'll post it for those who maybe didn't...
