ive only heard run acoustic live - i would LOVE to hear the full band version ! :(

Holy crap these guys were amazing both nights.

 

Last night I got upgraded to row 4. Got a lot of looks from the bass player. And a few from Gary.

 

Full band Run was amazing. I loved hearing Open Your Eyes that close. Amazing.

really like A Hundred Million Suns & am really loving The Planets Bend Between Us to bits!

 

but i can't really tell what's the diff between the album version & the single/MV version beyond the ending bit where the whole band sings the chorus/main line? cos i thought i read somewhere that Gary was saying the re-recording would sound completely different to the album version...anyone can enlighten me?

Mixed completely differently, more drums, less acoustic guitar, harmonies... lots of different things.

do you think they'll come to mexico???? cause otherwise I'd have to beg my dad to take me to Houston or Dallas

Bagged a pair of tickets to their final show of the NA tour in October. After backing out of getting tickets for U2 or The Killers, I'm glad I'm finally gonna go see a non-Coldplay live show this year. Can't wait. And hey, I turn 21 just 3 days beforehand, so it'll be a happy birthday to me. :P

 

On another note, lately I've really fallen in love with "Somewhere a Clock is Ticking".

Bagged a pair of tickets to their final show of the NA tour in October. After backing out of getting tickets for U2 or The Killers, I'm glad I'm finally gonna go see a non-Coldplay live show this year. Can't wait. And hey, I turn 21 just 3 days beforehand, so it'll be a happy birthday to me. :P

Snow Patrol is playing on 28th July a concert near my town for StreetGigs here in Germany and I can't go. :bigcry: I'm on a trip with my class that day and can't make there it in time. Besides you have to win the tickets and don't seem to be able to buy them. :\

OK, I'm coming to the experts... I recently got Eyes Open and fell IN LOVE with it. Which should my next cd be? Final Straw or A Hundred Million Suns? Obviously, I'm probably going to end up with all 3 at some point, but which should I get immediately?

I know what you mean about the small venue- they're playing Stubb's here, which is outdoor, but small. Yay! I must admit I knew basically nothing of them before they opened in SA, but now I just love their stuff! This time, I'll be able to sing along! :D
