i dont like many war films, but i liked this one,

We Were Soldiers was the last good war movie I saw. And certainly the best one I've seen in years. Enemy At The Gates was also amazing.

Enemy at the gates was a great war movie yes, but it's not the same style.

 

Then again, i hated Saving private ryan, so people think my taste is strange

Saving Private Ryan is horrible, it was too American biased. The way Spielberg presented the story was that the Americans were the reason World War II was won. And the story was very very very WEAK!

Well just in case you guys didn't know this.... umm

I'm very much into action movies.... and into war movies... and yes I did watched Saving Private Ryan and I'm still in love with it.... and I've seen all the movies you guys mention above, very good movies.. umm I'm not very into happy happy movies.. but I do watch some of them and I enjoy watching comedy movies ;) :D
