It looks great, but it has some problems that make some parts (like profile pages and the notifications section) unusable. Also, it appears we can no longer change the theme, which would have been quite useful at the moment.

you can change it, and i did, but they just hid it. I think what I ended up doing was selecting all on a page to highlight the hidden 'themes' option at the bottom.

@stephen can you change the backgrounds in New Posts, notifications and the profiles so the text is visible again? Love the new theme though :awesome:

Yes, same question!

Overall though, what is everyone's favourite theme? Without paying attention the the current bugs, do people prefer the new theme over the older one. I can easily make both available but which one should be the default theme?

I preferred the old default theme. The theme button is also still invisible. The new one looks a bit 'PowerPoint background' for me. Perhaps just have the gradient at the top banner instead of the whole page. The new large font used for things like submitting posts is quite hard to read. The optional dark theme (which still has EL branding BTW) is also too dark, to the extend where I can't see the buttons. Personally I think the retheming should have just been the old Everyday Life/Coldplay General theme but with the rainbows or gold text replaced with pink and purple, as it was a much better theme in general. All three themes have issue. The default themes' text editors are white, which pops out and is hard on the eyes, and the dark theme is quite broken.

The previous one was my favourite Coldplaying theme of all the themes. But I like this one too.

The current theme suits the new era much better though.

I agree, the previous theme was my favourite. I think I will revert to it, offer users to switch between the ligher theme and the current 'Higher Power' theme. The other themes shouldn't even be there. They are beyond defunct at this point.

I prefer this new one, but partly because I'm a dark dark soul who just wants every website to look dark lol

I know I'm reviving an old thread, but is this feature available? A dark theme would be quite nice.
