📦 COLDPLAY ARCHIVE PROJECT BETA 📦 | Calling all Coldplay Collectors!

As Coldplaying's forums turn 20 this year, we're proud to say that the past 20 years of content has survived the test of time. That's almost 6 million posts from 130,000+ users, and it's all right here!

Sadly, externally linked content such as concerts, interviews, photos etc. have not. The past 20 years has seen a number of file sharing websites come and go, along with the Coldplay content uploaded to them.

That's why we are introducing the Coldplay Archive Project, a non-profit, fan-powered multimedia archive for Coldplay content.

Screenshot 2022-01-19 at 21.17.51.png

The Coldplay Archive has been set up to preserve as much Coldplay content as possible. Currently, over 24TB of redundant storage has been allocated to the project, with more to come as needed. A sophisticated backup system has also been put in place, with plans to archive to LTO tape in the future for up to 30 years of data retention.

Basically, once a file is uploaded to the archive, it will stay there for a very long time! Longer than it would ever last on any cloud storage service.

Due to cost limitations, there are no plans to make the Coldplay Archive publicly available. However, in the future, large data dumps of the archive will be available via torrents for anyone to download.

We are looking for members of the community with a large collection of Coldplay content, to upload as much as possible to the archive. Once the files are uploaded, we will take it from there! The files will be organised and catalogued for preservation and made available to download by other members of the project.

If you have an existing collection of Coldplay content and would like to join the archive, please DM me and we can have a chat! Make sure to include a list, or screenshots of what you have, if possible.

Let's hope that when Coldplay finish up in a few years, we can look back on over two decades of concerts, interviews, photographs and more!

I do have a huge list of dvds and files from the Torrents webpage that Rolandxy use to manage back in the days, varying from concerts to tv appereances and interviews.

I do have some epks and interviews promo dvds and cds from my collection.

I would approach the archive but i'm sure that Stephen and every other collector has way more stuff then me lmao. I'll be waiting for the torrents.. hopefully there will be enough seeders. I'll chime in if not a lot of people tune in though. I probably can't provide the biggest archive of shows but I have a lot of 5.1 rips and edits that a lot people wouldn't otherwise know how to access which could be valuable to some people... @stephen chuck me a dm if you need.

it would be nice if there were unreleased songs or demos in the download section

Sadly we aren't allowed post that stuff anymore 😞 Most are freely available online on sites such as dbree

Hey all. Stephen reached out to me on Discord and it sounds like a great idea to assemble all your resources together, update them, pool all your shows, and then possibly collectively share. I was big into collecting the band during the first 2 tours and tried to get everything under the sun or at least catalog what shows the band did on all their tours but also which ones were recorded. I lost a bit of interest during X+Y and beyond but still got some shows and resources together.

I've been give a short request list and i'll look into helping out with those. In the meantime I'll toss in all my website resources online and offline that i had for the band. I'm sure they should help some. I may have some old webpages on a hard drive somewhere too if that helps. I'm not a current fan of the band but they meant a ton to me back in the day and i still wish them and their fans the best.

Here's my old site, https://thescientist1.tripod.com/  tripod has taken down a chunk of it.

My audio list for the first 2 album tours. https://thescientist1.tripod.com/covers/CPList.htm (blue was dvd's)

DVD list archived, but screenshot images gone (might be on a hd) https://web.archive.org/web/20190802162322/https://radioheadvids0.tripod.com/CP.htm

Gigography through 2008 and highlighting some of the later tours. https://coldplaylive.blogspot.com/

And some live highlights as well as a few links for other collectors and resources if they are still around https://web.archive.org/web/20190605125201/http://bestofdabootlegs.tripod.com/Coldplay.htm

Remember if its offline it might still be on the wayback machine

Wow has it really been 21+ years now! That's amazing. 🤣

Hi, I have several coldplay shows (there are not many since I don't collect audience recordings) but I think they are useful for this project, I still think they may have some of these shows, but I still offer my files, if you are interested send a message

Indeed Stephen, you're right. My website is offline atm, sorry for that ..

Yesterday I bought a new domain for my site, it should be up and running within 24 hours at: www.notnokker.com

For now, I attached a copy of my tradelist (needs update) in .txt docs in this post.

cp audio.txt cp video.txt

Edited by notnokker
EDIT: New domain is online now :)

i don´t listen to coldplay anymore but i have some demos from a rush of blood to the head and x&y that i can upload

demolist 17 B · 7 downloads

Can you please copy and paste the list here as text, or send a DM with the list as text ? I don't know what that format is, and forgive me but it seems rather risky to download an unknown file format...

Sorry, what kind of file is this? It isn't working for me.

if u add the file extension ".txt" in the file name, it opens as a text file and theres nothing in it besides something along the lines of "demo list" so im not sure...

Nah I've just been after other interviews aired in Japan,
I find Japanese stuff impossible to find and was really impressed that Wowow recordings were obtainable.
