I get your point, but that´s a neverending story, they have (thank god) their own criteria and opinions, and the songs that are left out are not good enough or don´t fit the album style. Or both. So our concept about what is good or not lots of times is far away from what they feel is good.

August 4, 20241 yr A preview of ‘We Pray’ with black and white cover art was just uploaded to Coldplay official YouTube channel and then was removed. This lead to a conclusion whether the song is gonna be officially the 2nd single off of the album or just a promo single such as 'Coloratura', released before 'My Universe' and MOTS album release. The song potentially features rappers Burna Boy and Little Simz; Palestinian-Chilean singer Elyanna and Argentine singer Tini Stoessel; the last one heard and confirmed to feature by listeners who attended previously the Moon Lounge in Rome.

Coldplay seems to be happy doing their own thing, but I don't think any of us are wrong for wanting them to do what each of us want them to do. I am a Mountain has some cheesy lyrics (not helped by the people there who looked like they were each paid a tenner to enjoy themselves) but I'm pretty sure I'll really like the song when it does come out.

August 4, 20241 yr The amount of negativity Moon Music is getting when it's already better than MOTS by a huge margin when you remove Colouratura. We Pray is better than My Universe..

Original Weirdo is from Mylo Xyloto apparently. They've worked on it EVERY era, and according to Admirice, the Musical variant is a mix of Mylo's writing with the polish of a MotS instrumental iirc.
