July 24, 20242 yr Well there are 10 song slots available if you look at what's on Apple Music/Spotify at the moment. Waddle could be correct that it's a hidden track somewhere, and if that's the case we'll find out soon enough. But if it's not hidden it's not on the album, there's just no room.

Being (rightly) critical of the band doesn’t make him miserable or anything. Just like blindly defending the band every time a member says something negative on their input does not make you a better fan or anything. This is a weak song overall and one of the weakest Coldplay live closing song ever. That’s an unpopular opinion but I would even put Biutyful as a better closer. Not a good song by any means and the Angel Moon bit is cringe but at least the outro with Chris back on the piano felt like we had a proper ending to the show. FLIFIL… nah.

The last concert of the guys I attended to was on the Mylo Xyloto tour, and it´s true that I dislike this ongoing surrender to pop (pop music is not a bad thing per se, but there are different kinds and our guys have chosen the easiest/worst in my personal and miserable opinion). I really think FLIFIL has nothing remarkable as a song, but I can´t judge how it fits in the end of a concert, because the context probably will make it better (which I think will happen also in the album). Tbh, I've been thinking the same about Biutyful. I didn't like the song really, but for me it grew into a good show closer over the few years. Now, I do really like FLIFIL as a song, but something about it doesn't quite feel right as a stadium show closer - maybe it needs time to grow into it and have some little changes at the end or maybe there's something else coming up as a closer from Moon Music. I'm yet to experience FLIFIL as a show closer, but seeing videos FLIFIL feels somehow quite static and restrained, although it grows into a good climax, Biutyful felt more flowy and filling the stadium with energy in a weird way and the outro for it was worked out really well.
July 24, 20242 yr Author I see the same issue with FLIFIL as a concert closer. My favourite closing song is Up&Up, but I think if they performed the full version of Coloratura more frequently as a closer that would take the cake. I doubt FLIFIL would be much better as an opener either.

From this tracklist alone i,am almost certain This album will be better then mots I heard a few tracks on YouTube and they sounded really good Dont think i will like Good Feelings though But the rest sounds really cool.

I Am A Mountain sounds like it might be the highlight of this record but I think I’m going to love the studio version of this song too. It’s the kind of sentimental ballad I expected them to make at this point in their career, plus some awesome guitar.

But I think it's something more than this. The progress which the band always strives for is something which makes them so special. So being with them as a fan on that path makes me want to explore, walk along, and discover the new. I don't know whether it makes a lot of sense for you what I am saying but to me it does 🙂
